Historically, and currently the University of Alabama is the only national namebrand in the SEC.
Alabama is on par w/ Texas, Ohio St., USC etc.
Some of Alabama's largest alumni bases are in Dallas, Philadelphia and New York.
Don't ask me why those cities, but there are just a large concentration of Bama alumni in those cities.

Not saying we are one but it damn sure isn't the Newniversity of Florida. I love the Gators but you guys aren't close to one in fanbases.

That sucked, I was very disappointed with our fans. Bought a lot of tickets and then stood outside the stadium selling them by the handfuls. Good point. Did I say I really like the Gators?
