I don't disagree with your analysis of Arkansas but LSU hasn't beaten anyone either. Arkansas also has lost to the two best teams in the SEC to this point.

Now, I would probably have LSU above Arky because this appears to be a power rankings but there is certainly an argument to be made.

I never said LSU couldn't be lower. I just asked for reasoning why they should be lower. For every argument you make to have LSU, UF, Arky or UGA at 6, one can be made to have them at 9.

I'm just calling Sarge on his obvious bullshite that LSU does not belong at 6.

LSU was favored at Florida this past weekend. I think most people expected LSU to win that game, including Florida fans.

sure they were favored, by a few points. But I don't think anyone felt that Florida was outmatched. I certainly wasn't overconfident going into last week. Like I said, Missouri was a great performance, but that is the only complete game we've played. I'd like to see us have a couple more games before I'd be willing to say we're definitely better than UGA, Arkansas, and Florida

Given that LSU has an interim head coach, no one should be overly confident going into any game. Wildcard every week.

Enjoy the ride, but keep your head out of the sky. Should be entertaining.

No your being s Dick, all I posted is why should LSU be #6? You are acting like a little child threatening to hold your breath instead of discussing football

Georgia should be about 3rd to last.

Sarge, how do you see the rest of LSUs schedule playing out, assuming the Florida game gets played?

All you do on this board is try to belittle LSU as much as possible. Acting like that's not what you were doing in this thread is a joke, and you know it.

Keep acting outraged that you are being called on your bullshite though.

Funny enough, I've still yet to see you make a solid argument for why they shouldn't be that high.

"Just because" is all you seem to have.

Sure, but if you had to guess, which do you think we lose and which do we win?

I'll give you my thoughts first:

OM- this and the A&M game are the two I'm having the most trouble with. It's at home, so I'll say we win this one. The team should be fresh after a week off and USM this weekend.

Bama- Loss. They are the better team.

Arky- Loss. I know they have thrown the ball quite a bit more this year, but they can still play smash mouth football, and idk if we have the defensive line depth to stop it. They also use their TEs well and we are pretty bad at defending TEs.

A&M- I understand we will disagree here, but I'm leaning W. I think that LSU is much better at stopping the type of offense A&M runs and I think A&M will have trouble stopping the run just as this did this past weekend. If Fournette and Guice are both healthy I think LSU runs for over 300 yards.

Florida- W. I think LSU is a better team than Florida, but if they are healthy, it will be a good game.

"Arkansas and Florida, maybe even Georgia

Y'all beat Missouri that's it..."

No argument given and completely disregarding the fact that Missouri is a better win than any of Florida's. You're also giving Arkansas the benefit of the doubt because they lost to two good teams even though they weren't competitive in either game. They do have a road win over a decent TCU team though. UGA has a good win over UNC, but a really bad loss to OM. They also were competitive against a good UT team, but have two shaky wins over a decent Missouri and FCS Nicholls St. Meanwhile, LSU has a 2 point loss to #11 Wisconsin and a shaky loss to AU, but a quality win over a decent Missouri team and a shaky win over MSU.

You see, that is how you actually analyze a situation rather than just getting butthurt because a team you don't like is ranked higher than you want to see in a Power ranking on a message board.

No, everyone agrees that 6-9 is a crap shoot. That wasn't even your post, you just parroted it.

Have you watched a&m play this year. They lead the sec in rushing. This is a different offense from years past. A&m hasn't been able to run the ball and stop the run in the past. It's very different this year.

I just don't know, heck 5 of those could be considered toss ups depending on your offense and fournette

The LSU offense looked bad in both losses, and they were still by a combined 7 points.
