I wonder how many of these were div 1 vs juco, etc...

As of now, the MLB is 44% players that attended a 4 year univeristy. They will soon be the majority. Look at the first round of the draft last year: 19 players were college players. That is the new norm.

The fact doesn't change that college baseball is a losing proposition financially and no more than a 3rd tier sport.
I agree nationally, but not in terms of the SEC. Here are the SEC programs where baseball draws the same attendance as Basketball

LSU
MSU
SC
Arky
OM
Texas A&M

So that is 43% of the league. I think it is fair to rank them the same for SEC purposes

At best it's attendance is on par overall with women's basketball.

It appears it is about on average with men's basketball in the SEC

LSU fans don't like facts and numbers, it confuses them.

This is so true. It's why you don't see any lsu posters on this topic. lol

If you're counting every sport equally, you're doing it wrong.

Football should be weighted 50%
Basketball and Baseball 15%
Women's basketball 10%
The rest 10%

I'm not sure what you typed here, but you left out Cheating at 100%.

Not quite true for A&M

Reed Attendance: 8,956
Capacity: 12,989
69% Full
High: 13,888
Low: 4,903

Olsen Attendance: 4,840 (pre SEC & big Tuesday games)
Capacity: 6,100
79% Full
High: 7,322
Low: 3,418

I expect the final #s for Olsen to be in the low 5,100 to 5,400 range (84%-89%)
