There about. I rounded up and was thinking top 4. It's not like the conference is stacked at QB.

1. Special Teams-Legatron...have some great skill guys for the return game...punter is the only question mark.
2. OL-the only reason this isn't #1 is the fact that we don't know yet who will play each position..may take a bit to gel.
3. RB's Pettway/Johnson...very solid back ups in Malik Miller, former 5* Kam Martin and the coaches keep gushing about CJ Tolbert
4. DL-three 5*'s in the 2 deep...2 will definitely be returning starters in Marlon Davidson and Derrick Brown...very talented 2 deep
5. WR-8 scholarship WR's and they are all very good. 3 of them won't get many meaningful touches and I don't know who that will be. NCM and Kyle Davis are the only for sure starters
6. QB-This might be #1 by game 2. Hard to rank higher than this with our starter having never taken an SEC snap.
7. LB's 5* Tre Williams and Deshaun Davis are the bellcows...with Darrell Williams at the other spot..solid depth with ballhawk Montavious Atkinson and some highly ranked incoming freshman
8. DB's-safety depth a concern but a couple of really talented guys coming off the DL, as well as Jason Smith coming over from WR will probably solve the problem. Tray Matthews and Carlton Davis are definite draft picks. Veterans is Stephen Roberts and Nick Ruffin will help, as will the fastest guy on the team, Javaris Davis
9. TE-Supposedly we will be using them more...Sal Cannella has really impressed folks with his hands but he is small for a TE...I still haven't seen anything from them that an opposing team would fear.

I could maybe see that. I just think between Allen, Hurts, Patterson, Stidham, Fitz, Bentley, and Eason would all be a tick above.

9. OL
Interesting...I had a bit of a debate with a UGA fan a few days ago that insisted that OL was going to be a strength due to the influx of young talent. I just don't see freshman coming in and having that kind of early impact. That's really rare on the OL. The only one I can remember at Auburn was Marcus McNeil. Even high draft picks Shon Coleman and Greg Robinson took a couple of years to develop. UGA's OL was BAD last year and lost 2 or 3 starters. I think your schedule is really favorable, and UGA is strong elsewhere...can see a 9-3 or even a 10-2 season...but no better given the OL.

You should think that. You've actually seen those guys and can point to their potential. Starkle is an unknown. I just like his upside in this offense with the playmakers around him.

1. TE- Mostly unproven but easily our most talented position. A lot of 4*s waiting to take over.
2. QB- Allen really helps this ranking. The backups haven't played much but Ty Storey is a former 4* and the players have nicknamed Cole Kelley "the franchise"
3. RB- Whaley should rush for well over 1,000 yards this year. Depth might be a concern but freshman Chase Hayden is one to look out for, he's been impressing in practice.
4. WR- Jared Cornelius is the only proven receiver coming back but there are a lot of talented young players that I know our OC is excited about getting to tinker with this year.
5. OL- They were bad last year but with 4 starters back and a ton of experience they should be much better.
6. DB- Almost put them higher. A lot of experience here and the freshman class is one of the best DB classes I've seen us sign, led by Chevin Calloway.
7. DL- Agim should be one of the better DL in the conference but we're having to replace a lot and who knows how the 3-4 will affect these guys.
8. LB- Dre Greenlaw, Randy Ramsey and De'Jon Harris I feel confident about, but there isn't much depth. Drew Morgan and Hunter Henry's brothers are in our two deep right now.
9. Special teams- Our special teams have been nonexistent under Bielema and they don't look much better this year
DBs should definitely be higher than WRs at this point
Also our punting has been excellent under Bielema. It's just that everthing else has been a dumpster fire.

1) Special Teams - Eric Berry the best return man in the country. Our Punter, Matt Darr, I wouldn't trade for anyone in the country. Our kicker Aaron Medley is automatic under 40 yds but struggles beyond that.
2) Offensive line - Struggled last year but everyone returns, with the addition of Trey Smith.
3) Running Backs - John Kelly is really good and imo was better than Kamara and Hurd in our offense. He'll run for around $1,500 yds this year, if he stays healthy. Ty Chandler who is a true freshman will be his backup and has already impressed the coaches.
4) Defensive Line - Struggled last year with injuries but if healthy will be a solid group. Kendal Vickers, Kahlil Mckenzie, and Shy Tuttle are really good players and if healthy will be productive.
5) Wide Receivers Jauan Jennings will be the go to man with Tyler Byrd, and Marquez Callaway being contributors as well.
6) Defensive Backs - Really struggled last year but should be improved. Shaq Wiggins gives us improved depth and Nigel Warrior should be a break out star this year.
7) Linebacker - Kirkland and McDowell are solid but not a lot of depth and if injuries abound there, we are in deep trouble.
8) Quarterbacks - Talented but completely unproven. We will lean on the run game early and hopefully they get better as the year goes on.

Auburn
Alabama
Ole Miss
Miss St
Arkansas
Georgia
South Carolina
Florida
All these teams have good Qbs. If you want to believe aTm has another, then I would say the conference is stacked at Qb

1. Offensive Line- Returns four of five starters and had a deep rotation last year. Should be more of the same.
2. Secondary- Derrick Baity and Chris Westry are long and athletic. Mike Edwards will be one of the best DB's in the SEC.
3. Linebackers- We return all of our linebackers from last season, including Jordan Jones who plays like a man possessed.
4. Running Backs- Benny Snell rushed for over 1,000 yards last year as a freshman, even after sitting out the first two games of the season. Sihiem King will have to fill the void left by the departure of Boom Williams, but he's capable.
5. Tight Ends- Nice group, led by CJ Conrad. If Stephen Johnson can consistently connect with him, he'll be a monster.
6. Quarterbacks- Stephen Johnson took over and did a great job, other than turnovers, last year. He's looked great thus far in camp.
7. Wide Receivers- We lost our deep threat to transfer, but we have a fairly talented group.
8. Special Teams- Great kicker. Decent enough return game. Terrible punter.
9. Defensive Line- Matt Elam really needs to step up this year on a line that wasn't great last year.

1. Special Teams - Evan Berry and Trevor Daniel are game changers
2. O Line - Easily the deepest, most talented, and most experienced position group
3. D Line - Even with the loss of Barnett this squad is really talented and being coached up by Hoke
4. QB - While Dobbs was great both of these guys are highly talented and can be better, especially in terms of the passing game.
5. Secondary - Very experienced and deep position group, especially after all the injuries last year and addition of Wiggins
6. RB - Todd Kelly is the quintessential back for our Offense and while he's less talented than Kamara, his stat line will be better. Depth is of concern but we have 3 solid backups who are all unproven (hopefully 1-2 of them step up)
7. WR - Jennings, Byrd, Williams, J Smith, Callaway, etc.. All very talented individuals although none quite on the level of Malone. However, this offense is centered around rotating receivers regularly which works well with this squad
8. LBs - Very highly rated position group that seems to have progressed little under the tutelage of Thigpen. Injuries devastated the group last year but until proven otherwise this is certainly the weakest position group on defense
9. TE - pretty underdeveloped and underutilized, this group has the potential to excel with Scott as OC (former TEs coach) but they were riddled with dropped passes so we'll see

I have a slightly different take on Auburn:
1. RB's- Pettway and Kerryon are a great 1-2 punch and compliment each other well. Malik Miller is healthy and I'm excited about the true freshman Devan Barrett. Auburn always has a dominant rushing attack under Gus and I don't expect that to change.
2. LB's- All three starters return after a breakout season, and a lot of quality depth behind them. Should be the strength of the Auburn defense, and easily the best LB group at AU in a decade.
3. QB's- I will chose to believe that Stidham is the truth. White was an efficient starting SEC qb last year, and will make for a great backup. Watch out for Malik Willis in the future too.
4. OL- Returning starters, grad transfers with experience, and a lot of talent. Group will be good, just need to see who ends up where and how they gel.
5. DL- once again a lot of talent here. Davidson and Brown will eventually replace Lawson and Adams and be great. Expect their sophomore years to be breakout. Need to find a pass rush specialist, but some solid choices there.
6. Special teams- Carlson is the best kicker in the nation, but we still haven't found a punter, and might resort to a walk-on. And while we have options at returner sondoes every team in the SEC. Its been a while since I can remember AU having a dynamic returner.
7. WR- Probably the most talented group for AU since 2004. Kyle Davis and NCM look the part. I think this group will be great for this year, but until I see it...
8. DB's- Also love this group. Excited to see Dinson and Dean healthy, and Davis is a lockdown corner. Depth is an issue though.
9. TE- Sal Cannella looks like he could be a real threat this year. Will we use home though, is still to be seen?
