Offseason fun cause bored as hell.
Special teams counts as a group as a whole.
1. Special teams - 4th overall last year. Should be as good this year. Strong return game, and one of the best kickers in the country.
2. Defensive line - Really underrated nationally, but will be talked about a lot soon. Zen and Cece are nasty
3. WR - Finally a strong group
4. Defensive backs - Harris hurts, but still talent
5. TE- Couple of really complete players
6. Running backs - Scarlett should make noise
7. Offensive line - More experienced, but I need to see it to call them strong.
8. LBS - Have some experience, Reese is very good, but rather blah compared to the rest of the D.
9. QB - Till proven other wise. The weak point of our team

1. LBs - best LB corps I've seen at LSU in a long time.
2. DL - veteran group with a lot of depth
3. DBs - DBU
4. RBs - Guice and the rest
5. WRs - unproven but full of potential
6. OL - some three vets and the rest. Wish there was more depth
7. H-backs - some talented guys there including JD Moore
8. Special teams - Growden and Ferguson are good
9. QBs - Etling is average and that's the best we have

1. RB's
2. LB's
3. DB's
4. TE's
5. DL
6. WR's
7. QB's
8. Special Teams
9. OL
We are actually really stacked at most positions. QBs and OL are just young and unproven, we've always had problems with special teams. 1-6 will undoubtedly be really good, Eason will get better. OL is our real concern, if they improve well we can go 10-2 easily.

Special teams - garbage until proven otherwise
QB - best in the SEC
RB - very good. Devwah Whaley will have 1,400 yards or so this year and a newcomer nobody knows yet will get close to 1,000 himself. ... The SC transfer is going to get around 500
WR - best in the SEC
TE - one of the best in the nation yet again
OL - ???
DL - ???
LB - ???
Secondary - top 5 SEC

Yea Oline is key for Georgia. Watching the UF vs Georgia game again as we speak while doing paperwork. We were in the backfield all night. Will be key for Georgia.

I agree, however I will go only 1-5 will be undoubtedly good. Only because our WR's had so many dropped passes last year. `I do think they will be good, but until they prove me wrong I will have to stick with that. Same with our OL.

1.) RB - Absolutely ridiculous amounts of talent here
2.) TE - same can be said as #1
3.) LB - Smith and Patrick at ILB are an amazing tandem, Bellamy and Carter on the outside need to put it all together.
4.) DL- really good group led by Thompson, deep and talented but we need to step up recruiting in '18 and '19 classes.
5.) DB- good mixture of experienced starters and young talent as back ups.
6.) WR- Godwin needs to step up and be a leader here, Ridley and Wims showed flashes but need to progress in year 2, hopefully Holloman can keep Chigbu off the field.
7.) QB- Eason must improve his accuracy this year. He's our QB and backed up by a true freshman and a punter.
8.) OL- a lot of very good young talent, but I hate the idea of a true freshman getting a lot of PT at OL. This group could potentially jump into the top 3, though if a combo of Netori Johnson, Isaiah Wilson, Andrew Thomas, or Ben Cleveland can lock down the right side of the line and play well.
9.) Special Teams- truly special. Retarded. Burn it down with everyone in it and rebuild it on their ashes.

1. RB - solid mix of depth, talent, and experience
2. WR - same as above, easily interchangeable with RBs
3. TE - again as above, Hurst is the headliner, but Crosby, Pollard, and Hinson are talented
4. QB - would be higher if depth was better, but Bentley is real deal
5. DB - returns all 5 main players, adds talented depth
6. LBs - returns top player on defense in Moore, but thin depth
7. OL - had issues last season but returns 4/5 from last season, has experience in depth
8. DL - has upperclass experience in interior, needs DEs to step up
9, STs - return game should be solid, but don't know about kicking game. Too many ?? right now.
The skill positions on offense are clearly the strongest units on the team right now: they return players who contributed substantially, and have talented depth in most positions. The QB position is too thin for my preference. The defense has a ton of veteran experience in the starting roles: 3/4 on DL are seniors, 2/3 LBs are seniors, and all 5 starters in the secondary (including the nickleback) are either seniors or juniors, with all having substantial starts from last season.
So the leadership and experience should be there, such as it is. The problem is once you go past the starters on defense, the experience drops off to almost nothing: there is talent there, but very little starts and a lot of freshmen and sophomores. So the defense COULD be solid based on its maturity and experience, but if there are any injuries that could drop off as well.
The defense returns its leading tackler from last season in safety DJ Smith, and returns the leading tackler the previous three seasons prior to that, in LB Skai Moore who returns from season-ending neck surgery last year. If we can develop a solid edge rusher into opposing backfields, then added to the leadership of Moore and Smith, we could have a solid defense this season...

1. TE- Mostly unproven but easily our most talented position. A lot of 4*s waiting to take over.
2. QB- Allen really helps this ranking. The backups haven't played much but Ty Storey is a former 4* and the players have nicknamed Cole Kelley "the franchise"
3. RB- Whaley should rush for well over 1,000 yards this year. Depth might be a concern but freshman Chase Hayden is one to look out for, he's been impressing in practice.
4. WR- Jared Cornelius is the only proven receiver coming back but there are a lot of talented young players that I know our OC is excited about getting to tinker with this year.
5. OL- They were bad last year but with 4 starters back and a ton of experience they should be much better.
6. DB- Almost put them higher. A lot of experience here and the freshman class is one of the best DB classes I've seen us sign, led by Chevin Calloway.
7. DL- Agim should be one of the better DL in the conference but we're having to replace a lot and who knows how the 3-4 will affect these guys.
8. LB- Dre Greenlaw, Randy Ramsey and De'Jon Harris I feel confident about, but there isn't much depth. Drew Morgan and Hunter Henry's brothers are in our two deep right now.
9. Special teams- Our special teams have been nonexistent under Bielema and they don't look much better this year

Auburn
1. Special Teams - Best in the country
2. Offensive Line - Best in the conference
3. Running Backs - Pettway is now 8% BF at 240 lb
4. Defensive Line - 3 deep is as talented as ever
5. Linebackers - Return everyone who played from a talented group last year and brought in arguably the best freshman group
6. Quarterback - Arguably the best depth chart in the conference
7. Wide Receivers - Talented but a bit raw
8. Defensive Backs - Safety depth is of concern but have two 2018 draft picks
9. Tight Ends - Not really sure how this group is going to be used but we return everyone and brought in a talented juco. This group scored a touchdown on every reception last year

RB - nice 1-2 punch of Williams & Ford are one of the better duos in the league.
DB - Watts & Wilson at safety are all conference types. Should be the strength of the defense. Oliver is huge, fast, & has tons of potential at CB. Willis is back & Myles may get some time at CB too and he's 6'4".
WR - we lost a ton here, but when you return the best WR in the SEC you can carry a unit. Plus the way we recruit the position, I have no doubt it'll be a strength.
After those 3 I'll say OL, DL, & QB could go any order. I think Nick will be a top quarter of the conference QB, but he's a big question mark. Our DTs should be strong but we're replacing to high level DEs.
LB - Seems like our weakest position every year. We return a lot. We add Hines but a freshman can only do so much. Position will stay last until proven otherwise.
