Sure, you can draw conclusions, but in a case like LSU, they will have 4-5 times the top draft picks that they have had the past couple of years.

So, your expecting to put 20-25 players into the NFL yearly? Gotcha

Dude, settle down.

How 'bout if we rank them 1a/1b? Really & truely Bama/LSU are very equal in talent IMO. We both stacked!

I don't think LSU O-line is as talented as everyone seems to think. Hurst is awful in IMO and the entire O-line leaves alot to be desired in pass protection. Faulk is legit though.

You've been spouting this shite off for a few weeks now.

2011
LSU - sacked 18 times

Bama - sacked 17 times.

Now Bama had more pass attempts so their number is better but more than half of ours were due to JJ being a fricking idiot when he dropped back to pass. Truth is both lines are stacked and are about a push to everyone else but Bama fans.

I don't hate LSU at all. Eric Reid is my favorite player in the SEC. My prediction was based off how awful LSU looked in 2010.

That was the worst 11 win team I ever saw.

struggled with UNC JV squad, struggled to beat a horrible UT team, Auburn gouged them on the ground, struggled with Ole Miss, horrible offense and a decent defense. Nothin about 2010 suggested LSU was going to be some dominant team in 2011.

Honestly I assumed the the breaks you got in 2010 would catch up in 2011.

Ok dude, sounds like some backtracking. I see to some extent what your saying about the 2010 season but it's also called a year more experience and one season to another doesn't necessarily reflect on future games.

Not to re-hash but you were saying some crazy stuff like Miss State had a better O-line than us and we would finish like 4th in the SEC west, I really wish I would have bookmarked it.

The UNC game we put in true freshaman way too early and almost screwed around and lost that game. The UT game we dominated statistically but had 4 or 5 turnovers. Ole Miss almost always give us their best game of the season no matter the records etc. ( One of LSU's most talented teams ever was down to a 4th down at home against a winless Ole Miss team in 06.)

Funny how your Bama 2010 team didn't give you any pause for consideration when you predicted their 2011 results. Oh that's right, because as all Bama fans know, their 3 losses could be easily explained as Bama losing the game not the other team winning amirite?

you forgot to mention about beating bama.....lol....in both the NC and UT game...they had many turnovers that kept the game close...so if you want to say they were careless...ok.....they did manage to go on the road and only lose to auburn by a score late in the game...as one of their two losses....and have some major breakdowns at the end of half in a loss to arky....so careless would be a good term....most new that they would be absolutely loaded last year minus qb. I assume you projected them to go 7-5 or some shite...lol...just fyi...they will be even better this year than last.

How are we making this determination?

Eye test?
Combination of NFL scouting, CFB production, and recruiting rankings?

Or just one of those 3?

Pains me to say this, but you have A&M WAY too high. We don't have "SEC depth" on defense yet. Nowhere close. Also, our QB's experience is limited to a few hand offs in real in-game experience. Most Aggies I know are setting themselves up for disappointment thinking we have a real shot at 8-9 wins this season. May take a while for Sumlin's new offense to get off the ground with a new QB and most teams will able to "ground and pound" our D into submission in the 2nd half. God I hope I am wrong though.

I think Tennessee surprises a lot of people this year, dead serious. They compete for the East.

Based off Saban constantly purging the roster. Based off Bama currently has the best combination of strength and conditioning, and player development. Based on the eye test.

3 players on the preseason Maxwell list. Name another team with that many.

I hope that you don't think arky has more talent that what he listed you as. In fact, Auburn has much more overall talent than arky, and that is a fact. You guys just cant seem to understand that having a pass happy offense makes you look good for numbers and get awards...but you need a defense and depth to win championships. Seriously, not trying to flame, but what the hell good does that "great offense" do for you when you play a top quality team and can't stop them....and can't sustain drives?

So....no then?

Google what Cincinatti had to say about Dre.

Irrelevant to this thread. Cincy made those statements for contract reasons (I know it's slotted, but there is wiggle room in upfront money, yrs, etc), and to push him so he wouldn't assume he's the starter based on draft position.

If Cincy wasn't pleased with Dre's backpedal skills then they shouldn't have drafted him. They brought him in for a private workout before the draft, came to his pro day, and were at more than half a dozen practices last yr alone. They knew what they were getting and STILL drafted him in middle of first round.

Yeah, I would have Arky and Auburn all about the same with South Carolina (probably Arky, Auburn and USCe) and all three ahead of aTm and Tennessee.
