Just for poops and gigs I took a glance at Kentucky's record.

1-5 with their lone win coming against Miami.

Of Ohio.

Kentucky also has the #6 SoS in the country (per Sagarin).

Yeah, my point is Dooley's first year was similar to Bielema's and we know how that turned out.

Just for shits and giggles lets look at performance against common opponents.

Florida
Kentucky - L 24-7
Arkansas - L 30-10

South Carolina
Kentucky - L 35-28
Arkansas - L 52-7

Alabama
Kentucky - L 48-7
Arkansas - L 52-0

Neither one of us have played State yet.

You REALLY want to discuss schedule strength with an Arkansas fan this year? Please.

I found another fun stat, Kentucky has more penalties on the year than Arkansas, while playing 2 fewer games to this point.

That's superior coaching, right Belle?

Actually Dooley's team looked better than BB's team.

Sure. Ours is better?

It's not uncommon for teams switching to the spread with young linemen to have a lot of false start, illegal shift penalties, especially early on.

You cannot be this stupid so I will assume you are trolling. In case you are serious:

Kentucky schedule: (1-5)

Western Kentucky - L
Miami, Ohio -W
Louisville - L
Florida - L
South Carolina - L
Alabama - L

Arkansas schedule (3-5)

ULL - W
Samford - W
Southern Miss - W
Rutgers - L
A&M - L
Florida - L
South Carolina - L
Alabama - L

First of all, you've only played 6 games to our 8. We've played an identical SEC schedule, except Arkansas has also played A&M. Why exactly do you think you've played a harder schedule to this point?

We have a Top 25 team in our OOC schedule (who we played well against BTW)?

I think Tennessee wins in the schedule strength department.

I think most would agree with that.

You lost to Louisville at home 27-13. You've already had 2 bye weeks. You think that makes your schedule harder than 8 straight games without a bye, with a stretch of

A&M
@Florida
South Carolina
@Alabama

Sagarin seems to agree with me. By about 11 teams.

But like I said, anything that helps you sleep at night at this point. Or fix your sails.

The argument was over when I pointed out that Kentucky has more penalties than Arkansas on the season, while playing in 2 fewer games.

You conveniently blamed the penalties on your players. I guess penalties now have nothing to do with coaching, according to you.

Bielema is an awful coach. Just accept it.

But don't try to prove it using performance against common opponents, strength of schedule (when comparing records), the opinion of non-UK/Arky fans who have watched both play, etc.

It's about the penalties.

You're trying to prove which team "looks" better coached by using Sagarin ratings.

I think you have mental problems.

Sadly. And before this season started we were set to play more top teams than in our in entire history (and we always schedule tough) but then Mizzou and Auburn had to go and get ranked too! Jeezus Christ!

If nothing else we should get an award for surviving 2013. A toughness trophy or something. Sure it's a participation trophy of sort but come ON! A first year coach with a schedule only the devil could dream up?!
