Just be wary, they are Catholics after all. Might be a shortage of young boys. They might settle for drunk Gumps.

This is the best part. Why the hell would you expect anyone to say thank you? I don't get it. If some random fan of another team walked up to me and said they were cheering for LSU, my reaction would probably be "OK." Not sure that thank you is something that would spring to mind.

Bama is a 3 loss team this year lucky to be in the NC game.

And Notre Dame is a 2-loss team that is lucky to be in the national championship game. What's your point?

They were probably rude because you ran into them and it doesn't sound like you apologized.

So they didn't acknowledge you at ALL? They just turned back to their meal and continued to eat?
Something doesn't sound right with your story.

Alabama is a team that is down 2 starting WR's and 2 main rotation RB's, one of which is the starting FB as well, not to mention about half of the impact players banged up to hell and back and still was able to make the BCSNCG anyway.

Just think about that for a few minutes and maybe it will sink in.

It's changed to more of a red over the years, but it's still closer to crimson than LSU is to gold.

We were in a restaurant. The man and his wife had on their ND attire.

On the way out I stopped by their table and asked if they are going to win. The man said they hope to play a good game.

I was eating and I decided to go up and talk to some Yankees with a non-yankee accent. As expected, they stuck their noses up at me and immediately thought they were better than me, and wanted me to get away.

That is where you and I differ.

The day after the 2003 SECCG I was at a Tennessee Titans game wearing my LSU cap. Several people congratulated the Tigers. I thanked each of them and shook their hands.

For the previous poster; Yes, I am Catholic.
