Ran Into Some Notre Dame Fans Last Night

We were in a restaurant. The man and his wife had on their ND attire.
On the way out I stopped by their table and asked if they are going to win. The man said they hope to play a good game.
I told them that I went to LSU and will be cheering for the Irish. Neither one even smiled or said thank you.
I might have to cheer for the Gumps after that experience.

Forgive the Irish, it's been so long they have no idea how to react. If ND commits no mistakes and stays under 5 penalties for the game they will win. It's how A&M beat Bama. Bama is a 3 loss team this year lucky to be in the NC game. As we all know, it takes a good team with some luck to make the NC game. Bama and ND got their lucky breaks in a year when no team is dominate.

Hmm. Most ND fans that I have met have been pretty decent. Had a good time hanging out with some in Pittsburgh last year before the LSU/WV game.
If it's any consolation, I hear that Bama fans like to sexually molest sleeping LSU fans. That may help to heal your bad experience with the ND fans.

Their sidewalk fan top even UF and LSU fans for being obnoxious, but I went to the UT game in South Bend and the fans there were great and it's a must see venue in college football.
