Exactly. He WAS 100% overrated up until this year. Had a great game against Bama though.
Id still need to see a lot more consistency from him if I was a GM, but it wouldn't be the first time teams have drafted on potential (which he has in spades)

Well there are a lot of idiots who know nothing about football out there. They thought he was overrated simply because he plays for ole miss.

The SEC will dominate this year's first round. It usually does but this year will be ridiculous. Nkemdiche, Treadwell, Tunsil, Sutton, VH3, Robinson, etc. There are so many great players from a variety of schools that will go first round and be stars. It's too bad Carl Lawson can't stay healthy or he would be up there with all the others.
It'll be nice to see us have success in the draft again. Nutt was here for four years, signed 642 players and not one went in the first round. If it weren't for Freeze's staff, Golson would be in the MiLB right now.

I didn't realize Ole Miss was playing in this year's Iron Bowl. Is that the prize we get for beating Bama 2 years in a row? Awesome. Are we playing Bama or Auburn?

Here's the deal, the last two years....yes he has been overrated. Godchaux was a true freshman on the DL for us last year and was much more effective than him in his first two seasons. Take a look at his play vs LSU last year, our Oline absolutely demolished him. He is finally living up to the hype THIS year. But can he withstand that LSU Oline that is even BETTER than last year with LF behind them? Will be an epic battle

I've been very vocal about Nkemdiche's actual production. His game against Alabama was spectacular as was his game against State last year. If he is consistent this year (even if not as dominant as he was in those games), he will have grown into the player that people pretend he was the past two years.
