No one is mad about the rule, it's the slimy way a small few are trying to get it passed. Show's their true character.

And the defensive genius is being exposed, and instead of adapting like Les, he tries to make a rule like a bitch.

What does calling Saban "Lil Bitch" do for you?

I don't get it. Are you just displeased that UA has beaten LSU 3 times in a row? You need to vent and name calling is your outlet?

Most all of these snap the ball with under 5 on the play clock the majority of snaps.

Lol. Didn't watch much NFL did you? Manning ran the HUNH at times...New England ran the HUNH a LOT.

Look, I love a pitchers dual. I love defensive strategy...and to watch AJ or whoever come to the line, read the defense, have the defense either read his change wrong, right or not at all, and then see it all unfold at the snap of the ball...I think it's awesome...I love to watch it.

The HUNH, on the other hand...when you run it, your opponent knows you run it. So don't give me this "catch your opponent by surprise" bullshite. You knew it was coming. Be that as it may...what the HUNH does is it makes the defense and offense read much quicker...if the offense likes what it sees out of the D, they go...if not, they audible. It changes the flow of the game. The defense doesn't have the opportunity to make presnap reads, communicate and change the D.

I like the dynamic of it...different styles facing off. Like MMA...seeing a heavy striker against a national champ wrestler or whatever.

I'm not trying to dog traditional offenses...I love traditional offenses and they sure as hell aren't going anywhere.

So I guess now when a team like Kentucky presents a matchup problem in basketball, they will be required to ensure that the opponent has enough time to substitute players so that there isn't a massive height mismatch in guard assignments?

There's already a rule that, if the offensive team substitutes, the defensive team has to have the ability to substitute.

That's why, when Saban first played Sumlin, every time the Aggies substituted, he substituted every position on defense, even if just to shuffle the lineup, to ensure they had the maximum amount of time to get ready.

Hell, the polls are 65% to 35% in ALABAMA!

On ESPN's poll it is currently 84-16 against in Alabama, only slightly behind the national total of 87-13. Even in Arkansas, where the Hawgs have no real competition for fans, it is 82-18. SC and LA have the lowest "against" results in the country at 78%.

Those results confirm something I've thought from the beginning here: Bama and Arky posters are blindly defending their coaches.

The biggest one to me is how it's "for safety", except for the last two minutes of the halves.

For those four minutes, player safety isn't important.

I'm not sure why it's so hard for most people to understand that more plays = more chances for injury.

If it's that obvious you surely have data to back it up, right?

The thing I cant stand about those supporting the rule is the hiding behind the narrative of"injury and safety". What a complete load of bull shite. Its pussy shite. If they want to argue a change because of an unfair competitive advantage then stand of the merits of that argument and make your case. This pussy shite that Bert and Saban are hiding behind is laughable. So are those blindly defending them.

I actually agree with this. I think too many are giving to much credit to Saban. He is just the face of the movement. Obviously there are other powers that be that do not like the direction the HUNH is taking the game and need a spokesperson. The "injury" angle is disingenuous but it allows for an immediate change in the rules, in the name of safety instead of having to go through the waiting period. Is this a "bitch" move? Absolutely. It's exploiting a loop hole in the rule book. Funny though that certain fan bases have no problem with "bitch" moves when it comes to short cutting their teams to success moving the ball but cry foul when others exploit loop holes to close loopholes.

Oh, and Mike Leach is a flake. Who makes a better spokesperson for your argument, a coach who is more known for loving pirates or one who has won 4 BCS Titles?

If its about more plays = more injuries. Why not just give a set number of plays per game and thats it. You get 10 plays to score each quarter.
