A&M total offense ranking: 2012: #1 2013: #2 2014: #6 That doesn't look very stable to me. As a matter of fact, that resembles an inverted incline.

A whole lot of factor to consider in those rankings. Not just a step back on our offense (new QB, losing a major contributor at WR and shuffling of the OL), but also the greater production last year from Dak, the Auburn offense and new offensive system at Alabama. All improvements which knocked us in comparison.

Sorry to step in. Please continue.

I don't know. LSU is pretty stacked at WR (not A&M stacked but nobody in the country is this year), and if I recall others have indicated OL should be one of their strengths this year. Put a top QB in there and it could play well despite Miles.

As others have mentioned, Kevin Steele could be a complete frick up and ruin the prediction baseline (that LSU defense is stacked and Aggie offense is stacked). Who knows

Should have asked earlier, are those conference or national ranks?

Don't care. The East will be down again and that's all that matters.

3-peat.

LSU fielding a top 3 QB. They're already great on defense and running the ball.

A&M is great at passing but they need improvement on defense and running the ball.

Sumlin's offense with a top 3 defense? Scary.

However we play LSU, not the Aggies. Don't expect to be in Atlanta this year. So LSU by default.

With the RB's and WR's that LSU has, if they had a top 3 QB and ran a more spread/HUNH attack, they would be damn near unstoppable.
