Boys, Schwaaz is old school Tuscaloosa as it gets. When he says something you can believe he knows WTF he is talking about.

I dont think he leaves... but Terry misses Baton Rouge. They made some good friends here and Ive heard from quite a few people that they both miss BR. Im not going to sit here and argue... Im just stating what I know.

There are only a few schools that can do that and Bama keeps raising the bar. There are rumors that FSU has financial problems and would have a hard time going after the big coaches right now especially with the "coach in waiting" buy out.

Baka is stupid with his contract

Buyout=he can leave with no financial consequences

Extension=he can't be fired without big financial consequences for Bama

It isn't that hard of a concept. No one ever expected Tubberville, Bowden, Carr, Fulmer, the Nebraska coach that got fired with 3 losses. Sometimes people just fricking change their mind and things go sour.

Are you a family friend of the Sabans?

I've heard the same thing about the Saban's and B.R. but the difference is they love it in Tuscaloosa too. The reason Nick left Miami was because Terry hated it down there and she missed mothering all the college players. She loves the college scene.

When he retires they probably will move to North Atlanta on the lake.

He is at the Mecca of college football and has the program built up to his standards and running like a well oiled machine. He can accomplish all his coaching goals at Bama and he will retire there as one of the greatest college coaches ever.

I think Saban came to Alabama to prove something after his failure in Miami. He is going to cement his legacy at Alabama as of football's best coaches.

I think Saban was embarrased by his time at Miami. He is obsessively driven for success. I don't believe he came back to college football to rebuild Alabama. He came back to send a message that he is one of the best coaches out there and Alabama was the kind of program where he could do it.

I don't think Saban is evil. Hell our High school coach left after my sophomore year and a trip to the state championship to go to the college left.... returned the following year to coach our rivals three miles up the road.

I think he came back to college football to prove himself as a coach again, has nothing to do with Alabama. I think he'll be there for a while. But obviously he cannot accomplish allof his coaching goals there. If the right opportunity presents it self at the right time, Saban will pounce.. as he should..

NFL success is the only failure hes ever had... if you think he doesn't think about that often youre insane.

The only complaint I had with the Crimson Tide is.. some fans obviously don't know how to handle success very well and be objective... I'm sick of every conversation being interrupted with a "yeah right we have nick saban, how can we lose, RTR LOLZ"

There was a reason I posted about the 1972 Iron Bowl. No coach wins every game but the good ones are in vying for championships every year.

Cut the Bammers some slack...they have been essentially insignificant in the last 20 years and are "overly excited" about winning the last two years and dont know how to handle it.

Its like going to church for the first time in 6 months, you are much more excited to be there than the person who has been there every week during that same time period.
