Both and we do both anyway so no need to pick one or the other

I watch both baseball and football so I'll go baseball championship. If you said basketball then i would have picked football because I dont care about basketball.

This is, by far, the most logical post in this entire thread and it doesn't have a single up vote. Sign of the times I guess.

National title. I would've said conference title because that would mean we're playing for natty, but then I remembered 1/9/12.

In the OP's scenario

Baseball

If you could choose between a baseball NC or a football NC straight up?

Football

More debatably I'd take a baseball NC over a Football loss in the championship game or the first round of the playoffs (after a SEC championship). A NC is the only ultimate goal, everything else is a good season at best.

Well this thread tells the tale. LSU is a baseball first school. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Kentucky is a basketball school and Bama is obviously a football school. It is what it is.

Don't be so harsh. He just forgot that you are a baseball first school.

I'd take the SEC title in football. I love baseball, and I hope LSU wins the 2017 College World Series. But on a college level, baseball is not nearly as big as football.

And I'm a bigger Astros fan than I am a LSU baseball fan. Partly because of yearly trips to the Astrodome/Astroworld when I was a kid and LSU baseball wasn't a big thing back then. And partly because our LSU baseball fanbase is beyond insufferable between lack of knowledge of the game and unreasonable expectations.

Football over baseball. But they run neck and neck, since Bertman and the LSU dynasty I would not mind a natty in either. It is more expected in Baseball, LSU is an elite program.
