Well that just makes the fall that much more painful.

It's not all or nothing like you imply. But you become accustomed to seeing your team perform at near the top. It doesn't mean we don't watch the bowl games that aren't the championship. Hell, I went to the Music City Bowl this year.

Don't act like it's not more painful for LSU fans than it is Arkansas fans. Yall have been god awful for quite some time now.

Same. It says a lot about expectations of a program when 2 conference wins is something to beat your chest about.

Welcome to the SEC basement.

Yea they apparently pride themselves on seeing their team improve. If they just had 1 NC in the last decade this conversation would be much different.

next you'll be saying they're our super bowl.

Oh no. If we had a Super Bowl it would be Texas. LSU is just a team we think, and, based on past performance, we know, we can beat.

Even in horribly down years Arkansas goes into the LSU game confident they can beat the Tigers. It isn't so much the biggest game on our schedule as the one we feel most comfortable with.

It changes from time to time. Back when Nutt was the coach it was Auburn that our team just knew we could beat no matter the records of the teams. Lately its been LSU.

LSU isn't the Super Bowl for Arkansas. They have just settled into the favored team status.

What does that say about your team that you can't even muster a smidgen of pride to beat the basement team? Hell, even score 3 points.

I guess you all are too dumb to realize a team is rebuilding after some extenuating circumstances. Enjoy your fall.

1) Arkansas was better than LSU at that point in the season, and probably just overall.

2) Arkansas was at home, and a lot more motivated for the game (LSU's season had essentially just ended with the loss to Alabama the week before).

3) Arkansas had a good defense, and LSU had an awful quarterback.

Give it up buddy. Look, we all know you are butt hurt over what happened last year. You know, we know, everyone knows. If it makes you feel better then this year should be one of those rare years when LSU well and truly can't wait to cross the Arkansas game off their schedule.

The more you harp on about how bad our team has been while we've been rebuilding the easier it is for us to troll you with the fact that we whipped you last year. You are too smart for that.

You mean a coaching change? I mean, Urban won a title in year 2 at Florida; Miles won a title in year 3 at LSU; Saban went to a Sugar bowl in year two and a title in year 3.

Arkansas was coming off its best year in the past 20 years when John L. Smith had to take over temporarily. That is extenuating circumstances and that's why he only won two games in the SEC. Bert came in and subsequently go zero SEC wins, and followed that up with 2 SEC wins.

John L. Smith with extenuating circumstances>>>>>>>>>>>Bert in year 2 with no extenuating circumstances.

Do you know there is a complete 180 in coaching philosophy under Bielema? Does a woman have to explain this to you?

Meh. Sometimes it takes a while to recover. If you don't realize that then you've gone full retard. Not much we can say to convince you.

Really ?
LSU is 14-9 against Arkansas since 1992, and 3-1 in the last 4 games.
You've won once in Baton Rouge since 1994. Once.
And even that one ('07) was in triple OT.

Jeez. Of course that's a blatant troll attempt. Arky fans sure can dish it out, but can't take a little ribbing very well.

Yep. Really. Sorry buddy. The last four games includes two of the worst seasons in the history of Arkansas football, and, I might add, one of the best years LSU has ever had. Even if you were forced to toss Nick Saban's salad at the end of the year.

Look, I know, you are waiting to screech "rivalry denied" but the truth is you are a team we feel comfortable playing most years. Sorry?

You're not a big rival for us. Right now that's probably closer to the Aggies then anyone since Texas isn't on the schedule year round. We just feel comfortable playing you guys.

Ashame what happened to Arkansas that year. You guys had a great team and a lead on LSU and then you got throttled and you've been rebuilding since. Now you guys are celebrating 2 wins and shutting out the LSU offense. Congrats hogs.

This game led to a really funny Latarian thread. So I will always be appreciative.

I think everyone understands this. Being only 5 below .500 against a team (since expansion) puts that team right at the top of the list of teams Arkansas is competitive with. Not sure why you think people don't understand what you've already said a handful of times.

It says a lot actually. LSU was in a bad way last year. It doesn't take away the fact that LSU is a 10x better program than Arkansas.

Just like 17-0, that's a fact.
