Missed field goals, turnovers, an insistence on not using the flats until the box loosened, dropped passes by the fullbacks, lack of any concerted effort to give our best player the ball, a failure to get off the field on third downs, a disinterested team because of the Bama loss, a failure to throw much less complete intermediate passes, poor tackling in the second half, deciding not to cover Hunter Henry in the fourth quarter for some reason.

Arkansas had a pretty good team, too, maybe?

QB play was atrocious and made them one-dimensional.
We took advantage and built a wall at the line of scrimmage.

Yeah, your excuse would have been overconfidence, expecting an easy win, Arkansas' Super Bowl, etc.

And how do we know that, pray tell?

The years were pretty similar, don't you think? I mean, Arkansas almost beat Alabama, too, right? Why can you guys not give a team some credit?

Holding a team to 123 total yards is a good way to vault up those standings for sure.

Yeah you don't see us blaming losing a 14-13 heartbreaker to Alabama for losing to Georgia the following week

Well.... You don't see Les Miles taking pictures with "The Boot" do ya? If LSU wins that atrocious thing, it gets put in a Public Storage locker until next Thanksgiving.

Maybe you guys can talk Alabama and Auburn into moving the Iron Bowl around. That way when Alabama throttles you yet again, there won't be a game next week for your mentally weak team to give up on. Oh, and by the way:

In 2013 after losing to Alabama, you went on a four game win streak.
In 2012, you won the next three after.
In 2011, you went undefeated.
In 2010, you beat Bama and won the next two after.

Going back to 2007 when Nick Saban arrived at Alabama, last year was the only time out of eight that you lost the following week. The "hangover" doesn't exist. It doesn't come close to existing. Repeating this lie may give the illusion that it's the truth, but it's not. And how is losing to the team that you've come to expect to be defeated by (four in a row. I know this is a huge number because you lord it over A&M) a major emotional disappointment?

LSU lost that game because they weren't particularly good. What do you expect when almost your entire roster from the previous two years declared early for the NFL draft? Alabama didn't cause you to go 8-5 and lose to us. Sometimes, shite just happens for no attractive reason.

Only Arkansas can be the equivalent of SJW triggered by a game they won and registered a shut out in. Who cares if you won over a clearly hungover team who could care less to play you? You still won. You should be happy to register a win over a traditional power.

2015 and 2016 LSU will have more depth and experience. If the QB position can improve to just slightly above mediocrity, LSU will be a top 10 team.

Pretty sure the Arky defense was calling out LSU plays before they ran them. Not a very good recipe for victory.

Except they weren't "hungover," because that doesn't exist, as I just proved. They lost the game because it was a match-up of a 7-6 and an 8-5 team, with us having the home advantage. 17-0 is not even really all that impressive of a win, it just came at a time when Arkansas fans absolutely could not stomach another SEC loss without tearing the city apart.

Who says I'm not happy? I'm happy we beat Nichols State, I relish every win.

So teams typically fight harder when a championship is no longer in reach?

If it's championship or bust and your teams have no pride to win games, I feel bad for you fans. And that falls on coaching.

That shite was infuriating. The stakes were lower but that game was every bit as ugly as 21-0

you shouldn't.

LSU fans have been very lucky to see LSU win a lot of games-including championships, as you know.

I feel sorry for the fans who root for a team that they have to force optimism after a 2 SEC win year.
