LSU's O and Florida's D are legit. However, this will be a game where you will see the improvements in both teams, Florida's O and LSU's D. And, this will not be because of the fact that the weak links go against each other.
I expect the game to be a close one, a 27-24 type.

Florida's defense and planning is very good.

However, losing Easley is huge for the type of defense FL plays. He was very good on the run and excellent on the pass rush. This will play a bigger factor than most.

If LSU offense gets on a small role, like a +7 play type drives, the FL defense will hurt. The hurry up mode will prevent subsitutions, which a Muschamp/Saban defense tends to rely on.

It doesn't really matter if they've played weak defensive teams or not, the difference in playcalling is obvious, and that's all that really matters

to Coach Miles (since according to the rantards on team site Les was going to run the O even after the Cam hire...right?)

UF games have been hard to watch, so I have not watched them.

I started a thread on the scoreboard at halftime vs TCU asking when Les got so good at calling plays. It didn't go over well.

There's no cure for that crew, no doubt.

Someone chimed in that Cam was known to have a fiery personality, so for the first time at LSU, Les was told to shut the frick up and sit down. He typed with every bit of sincerity.

It's just baffling man. Crowton couldn't develop a QB, Stud is not an OC and Krag was sick. Cameron is NFL caliber and has been a good friend of Miles for 30 years.

LSU has a really good offense + a really bad defense and Florida has a really good defense + a really bad offense.

LSU fans - do you think UF's defense is really good, or is it just they've played weak offensive teams in your opinion?

I think the statistics are inflated slightly, but I still think they're probably the best defensive unit in the SEC and they could really cause LSU problems if they get a consistent pass rush.

I think UF's defense is really good, and they've played weak offensive teams.

And I don't think they're good enough on Defense to make up for how many points their offense will have to make to win the game. LSU by 14+

I think both are really good ,and it will be a test of strength come 10.12.13. UF D is really. And LSU has a really good O. So there you have it. both are good and it be a great battle.

It won't take them long, however, to realize that they can't cover both WRs man-to-man

While I will agree your receivers are probably the best 2 in the SEC....If there is any team that CAN play them man-to man, it's us.

I love how fans from other schools like LSUs will act like parrots and say their (UFs) offense is really bad and all they know is they watched 5 minutes MAYBE of Gator football. Ask Arkansas how good our offense was...it kept them off the field a bit...although Arkie was able to do what 4 other teams couldn't: run the ball with some limited success and put pressure on our run game, but others have done that.

I fully expect LSU will load 8 in the box most of the time to stop our ground game. # 33 Mack Brown ran pretty hard for us and Matt Jones is the starter. You can expect passes if we cant run well and also slip screens & bubble passes with good downfield blocking Our two main receiving threats will surprise you with their speed and nimble feet...# 1 Dunbar & # 83 Patton are fast. LSUs secondary will get burned a few times and then I expect LSU to stop 8 man fronts and go to seven or six to help DBs.
LSU has not seen the likes of a secondary like ours since they played...ummmm UF last Oct.I think our secondary is better than last years with Hargreaves.

And even that is being generous

Murph did a nice job. Our D started off slow stopping the run in Q1, but did a great job the rest of the game
