They probably haven't. It is pretty obvious.

Hi. I've never read a message board before. Can you guys explain how fandom intersects with a sports forum with a broad swath of fans from different teams? Do people really say things to other fans that are an embellishment to try and goad a response thereto? I don't know that I've ever seen such behavior. Thanks in advance.

Tell me that wasn't the first thing you thought when you read this ridiculous thread started by an Alabama fan.

I think the margin is the home-field bump that the LSU D is going to get.

Cause a little bit of mis-communication on the O-Line for UF, and LSU forces enough stops to win.

OT: Is homefield advantage more important when your D sucks? I was so much more comfortable going on the road wit LSU's bad arse Defenses of the last few years. Not so much this season.

In general, I'd say homefield for LSU-UF is usually irrelevant.

Look at the last 10 years.

Yes I watched UF get beat by Miami.

And Miami exposed UF's defense right?

Driskel's mistakes had nothing to do with it?

This thread still has the potential to be a not homer/troll thread.

That is the hope.

The functional equivalent of how random and stupid this is would be for someone to say LIKE IN 2011 when we lost to AUBURN!~~()&*#(*^#^

Pass Defense
Kickoff Return
Penalties

Looks like 3 of UF's problems to me. Some of those can be fixed I'm sure. LSU's D is showing signs of improvement. LSU prolly not going to get a ton of rushing yards on UF Defense but it's CFB... anything can happen. Cameron is an excellent OC and play caller. Vegas money thinks LSU wins it.

Thanks for the education. Today is my first day ever on a message board. It seems like fun.

Why post in the thread (twice) if it's such a waste of time?

ETA: make that three times

Since the Toledo and Miami games, UF has been surprisingly under control with penalties...

As for the other 2 though...

You've both had fans start threads claiming the other team's strength (LSU on O, and UF on D) are over rated. I have a simple question in hopes of gaining a consensus of opinion from each fan base:

You're asking for a consensus opinion from 90,000 people on the internet?
quote:

LSU fans - do you think UF's defense is really good, or is it just they've played weak offensive teams in your opinion?

UF fans - do you think LSU's offense is really good, or is it just that they'd played weak defenses in your opinion?
None of this is mutually exclusive, FWIW.

A lot depends on Landry's health. If he's only 75% and Florida doesn't have to expend a lot covering and keeping an eye on him, it changes LSU's offense in a big way.
