For my UGA friends.. how does it feel to be behind all your rivals. You guys act like your school is Vandy.... UGA no need to respond with % of folks admitted.

sounds like an air tight ranking system. Funny how there's no mention of actual grades, entrance requirements, etc.

I always wonder if the Vanderbilt fan that posts here waits for this day and is poised to post "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! Anchor down, female dogs!"

Then I remember they don't have a poster here.

What does this even mean? The reward is a good grade, are you supposed to get a cookie cake or something?

Don't swallow the bait when there is an east coast jourmalism major trolling you.

Texas A&M is the only top 20 research institution between the east coast and the west coast. It is also the only university in the United States that is actually in charge of one of the United States 3 biosecurity centers. If the nation suffers a pandemic, millions of American families will be depending on vaccines manufactured at Texas A&M.

Looks like the Princeton journalism major put a really heavy emphasis on how strong the department of multiculturalism is at each school.

Yeah, I don't even understand how you quantify, "how hard students are required to work".

That is literally an individual responsibility.

You went to a giant state school, shithead. There's nothing alike between y'all and Vanderbilt.

exactly. Plus "staff availability" is one of the criteria? Oh, school X has more office hours with professors than school Y....bump them up the rankings!

From the rest of the methodology not posted in the OPs link

quote:

How hard students work and how much they get back for their efforts, on a scale of 60–99 . This rating is calculated from student survey results and statistical information reported by administrators. Factors weighed include how many hours students study outside of the classroom and the quality of students the school attracts. We also considered students' assessments of their professors, class size, student–teacher ratio, use of teaching assistants, amount of class discussion, registration, and resources. Please note that if a school has an Academic Rating of 60* (sixty with an asterisk), it means that the school did not report to us a sufficient number of the statistics that go into the rating by our deadline.

That's foolproof. Let kids with no reference point rank their institution.
