While LSU winning in Hoover certainly put LSU in position for a national seed, LSU would Have NO chance at being a national seed if USC/OM hadn't crapped the field in Hoover. Fortunately for LSU, they amazingly BOTH did and opened the door wide open for LSU.

Should've flipped the switch a tad bit sooner.

UGA will most likely be in Athens.

Not exactly. He was earlier in the season but hasn't started any game, even a midweek start, since April 12.

That's not true, he started on May 6 against Louisville then in the SEC tournament. He missed a couple of series but he has been the third guy more than anybody else on their staff

Not sure where you got that. The box score says Buehler started for Vandy. Miller gave up two earned runs in only 1.1 innings of relief. Which is prolly another reason he was scratched from the starting rotation until they needed a warm body on the mound in the tournament.

Maybe Ole Miss would have been able to quiet LSU's red hot bats, though very doubtful.

We wouldve pitched a true freshman.. First start for him in almost a month... He probably wouldve walked a lot of guys and gotten ripped... But we blew a 6 run lead they day before so we'll never know.

I can't see Arkansas being a 3 seed.

They won't be. Even A&M might sneak into a 2 seed.

Figure ACC, PAC and SEC will each get at least 1 Super, and 1 Regional. B12 will probably do the same with Texas and TCU and that gets you to 8 of 16. Rice and Houston are #1 in their conferences so that probably gets 2 more to 10. SEC and ACC are most likely to get 3 so that gets you to 12. Sun Belt and Big West may host just to get in an extra SEC and PAC team in their bracket respectively and now you are at 14. IU will get a Super for the BTN and that gets you to 15. NCAA pulls annual SEC rug out and last team goes to ACC instead of SEC and you are at 16.

(5) SEC = Baton Rouge (LSU), Columbia (USC), Gainesville (UF), Nashville (VU), and Oxford (OM)
(4) ACC = Charlottesville (UVA), Coral Gables (UM), Louisville (UL), and Tallahassee (FSU) - looks like Cards got an ACC bounce
(2) B 12 = Forth Worth (TCU) and Stillwater (OSU) - TX losing to OSU cost dearly
(1) PAC = Corvallis (OSU) - Genuinely surprised the PAC only got 1 host site
(1) B1G = Bloomington (IU)
(1) CUSA = Houston (Rice)
(1) Big West = San Luis Obispo (C P)
(1) Sun Belt = Lafayette (LA - LA)

Here is the NCAA RPI from yesterday LINK

1 ACC Virginia = host site
2 SEC Florida = host site
3 ACC Florida State = host site
4 B1G Indiana = host site
5 PAC Oregon State = host site
6 Sun Belt La.-Lafayette = host site
7 SEC Vanderbilt = host site
8 CUSA Rice = host site
9 B12 Texas, not hosting
10 SEC LSU = host site
11 AAC Houston, not hosting
12 B12 TCU = host site
13 SEC South Carolina = host site
14 SEC Ole Miss = host site
15 ACC Miami (FL) = host site
16 Big West Cal Poly = host site

18 B12 Oklahoma State = host site
20 AAC / ACC Louisville = host site

My guess at the Lafayette Regional

1. ULL
2. MSU
3. North Carolina
4. SELU

Toughest Regional out of all 16
