Every year the fans say that and then the NCAA put UK in the B1G bracket and ship the Cards to the PAC. 2-3 years ago UK had already installed 1,000 - 2,000 temporary bleaches expecting that year it would bu UK and UL and a sellout. NCAA did not comply.

They're not always afraid to do that. They've put Clemson in our regional and paired them up with us in the Supers over the last couple years. However Clemson wasn't able to make it to Columbia that year as UConn bounced them out of their own regional.

I am just talking UK and UL. It would be a great selling game every time yet the NCAA always seems to deflect to the B1G and PAC. Instead of selling 5,000 seat in Lexington a few years ago they sold 500 in Gary (where they placed Purdue)

It will be interesting next year tho as UL will be in the ACC and ACC seems to get extra NCAA love.

You could easily flip UK and Vandy if they don't host. Send UK to IU and Vandy to UL or UVA. I really don't know what to do with USCe and Vandy. I think both should host but I don't see the committee giving us 5. If Vandy host and USCe doesn't then I could see the cocks going to UVA or Miami as the #2. If the cocks go to Miami they take that shite easy I believe.

State might be a 2 at ULL
I think that might be true if y'all are a national seed. If y'all don't and ULL does, then y'all would probably match with them. I don't think they would put us against the possibility of us going to BR if we somehow put 3 games in row together.

Here is the NCAA RPI LINK

If you look at the first 24 and pick 16 from there.

1 Virginia ACC #1 and lock
2 Florida SEC #1 and lock
3 Indiana B1G #1 and lock
4 Florida State ACC #2 and lock
5 Oregon State PAC #1 and lock
6 LA-Lafayette Sun Belt #1 and lock
7 Texas B12 #1 and lock
8 Rice CUSA #1 and lock
9 Vanderbilt #2 SEC
10 Houston #1 AAC
11 TCU #2 B12
12 South Carolina #3 SEC
13 LSU #4 SEC
14 Ole Miss #5 SEC
15 Cal Poly #1 Big West
16 Miami #3 ACC
17 Texas Tech #3 B12
18 Kentucky #6 SEC
19 Oklahoma State #4 B12
20 Louisville #2 AAC
21 Washington #2 PAC
22 Oregon #3 PAC
23 Indiana State #1 MVC
24 Maryland #4 ACC

Figure ACC, PAC and SEC will each get at least 1 Super, and 1 Regional. B12 will probably do the same with Texas and TCU and that gets you to 8 of 16. Rice and Houston are #1 in their conferences so that probably gets 2 more to 10. SEC and ACC are most likely to get 3 so that gets you to 12. Sun Belt and Big West may host just to get in an extra SEC and PAC team in their bracket respectively and now you are at 14. IU will get a Super for the BTN and that gets you to 15. NCAA pulls annual SEC rug out and last team goes to ACC instead of SEC and you are at 16.

Nope. There's no tournament Hyman can buy into for his raise this time.

I hope we are withing decent driving distance of Fayetteville. I don't know if OSU did enough to get their regional.

I don't really want the TCU regional.

Finished 5th in a 9 team conference they aren't sniffing a top 8 and have a damn good chance of not hosting.

While I feel the same, The NCAA will do something so the LHN gets some games. I generally feel politics alter what actually makes sense.

ps, when I say lock I mean just hosting, not lock to host Super. Probably should have made that more obvious.

I'd be totally cool being a 2 seed in Austin.

Make it happen.

I can easily see them hosting and aTm being sent there as the #3 for shits and giggles. Big12 is only getting one top 8 though and that most likely is TCU.

UL hosting? Not with Bloomington being that close.

Possible, TCU or OSU is closer though. But yes Austin would be a better trip than Fort Worth or Stillwater.

I just looked at their rpi and it's 19 I thought it was higher. Maybe UL goes to IU and UK to UVA. That would be a nice trip.

Why would the NCAA care whether or not the LHN gets games?

In fact, wouldn't they want to INCREASE viewership instead of placing an entire regional on a channel no one gives a frick about?

UK already played UVA this year. I would like that. Would not like Indiana State with IU in a regional, it would be

If I were doing the brackets it would never look like it does but these are some of my "NCAA Rules of Alteration"

#1 ACC will get 1 more host than they deserve
#2 SEC will get 1 less host than they deserve
#3 B1G can have 1 team in the Top 50, but they will host so the BTN gets games on their channel
#4 Texas will host if at all possible so the LHN gets games to broadcast
#5 PAC will get to stay home before traveling
#6 No matter how many tickets they pre sell, UK will not play at UL or UL play @ UK (when both make NCAA)
#7 UL will play at some PAC teams home when a closer bracket makes more sense
#8 Seeding will set up to put SEC teams in 1 side of the CWS bracket. PAC will get both sides.

While not hard and fast, whenever one of these things happen, I am never surprised.

Same thing happens in the B1G every year too yet the NCAA keeps doing it.
