2011
1 LSU vs 2 Alabama

2012
5 LSU vs 1 Alabama

2013
13 LSU vs 1 Alabama (assuming they stay similarly ranked after bye weeks)

2014
???

I'm going to guess the downward progression is linear and bet it'll be 1 Alabama vs 21 LSU. Does CBS even choose this as their game of the week?

What are your predictions? No trolls, please.

They'd better watch out for the ghost of Bert in their opener.

Sept. 13 Louisiana-Monroe, Baton Rouge
Sept. 20 Mississippi State, Baton Rouge

Oct. 4 at Auburn, Auburn, Ala.
Oct. 11 at Florida, Gainesville, Fla.
Oct. 18 Kentucky, Baton Rouge
Oct. 25 Ole Miss, Baton Rouge
Nov. 1 Open
Nov. 8 Alabama, Baton Rouge
Nov. 15 at Arkansas, Little Rock or Fayetteville, Ark.

Waiting until Week 10 for the bye week again? Questionable strategy.

I'll say LSU has one loss next year, @ Auburn.

#1 vs #7

Depends on what high school teams Bama has on their schedule next year. If they play Hoover or De La Salle, they might slip up.

Otherwise I would say Bama number 1 LSU 6 or so.

It's interesting, when questioned about bye weeks, that coaches say it's a wash. Then, look at their schedules and see which teams they have a bye week before, or schedule an FCS scrub before. Very telling.

If we win out... I would say LSU would be 5-7

You do realize that Bama has Florida and Tennessee next year and LSU has Florida and Kentucky right? The schedules are really similar except Bama opens against West Virginia

They don't understand that some years one team has a weaker schedule than another team, it'll be that way for a while, then swap. To them everyone in the country has to play the same schedule.

Both teams will be in the top 10 by the time they meet.

WVU sits at 3-5. Wins over William & Mary (7 points), Georgia State and Okie State. Life was much better in the Big East.

I just can't wait to see them mock us for playing Wisconsin the year after they play them
