I could see anywhere from 5-8 wins

Lol you aren't winning at Tennessee

Anything is possible with Butch Jones

I think you lose 6 of your last 8 to go 6-6. Don't think you beat Florida or Tennessee.

If memory serves, isn't muschamp undefeated against Lyle? I would say if they give it all their heart then they might beat the fighting for 5 star Lyles

We almost beat Tennessee with our old ol coach calling the shots in the midst of our 3-9 season. That's the quietest 100k stadium possible.

I could see that. I am thinking 7-5.

I guess 5-7 but could just as easily be 7-5

I'm not sure the COCKS can win the division, but I'm also not convinced they couldn't beat any SEC opponent on the schedule.
eta: 7-5 or 8-4

Arky is the most hot and cold team USC could beat them

Uneventful 5-7 wins this fall.

Eh, I don't think you guys bother to take a good look at things, and think them through.
There aren't any guarantees, but there is a reasonable chance A&M, Tennessee, and Arkansas are looking to fire/ready to run their coach out of town next year.
Kentucky even could be added to that list. They did a lot better after the start of the season, and have the best qb no one seems to even know exists. I think Johnson could have the best season of any qb in the East next year. May not happen, but it could. And Bentley and Lock (note I don't mention the "golden arm" from Georgia) aren't exactly slouches. Lock will probably be the guy with the biggest numbers though.
Still, I dunno about Stoops. Nothing would surprise me from them winning the East to falling apart totally.
Missouri has some real issues, still they have a good chance of putting up the biggest passing numbers in the East. Think Vandy lost some key guys on defense, so kind of expecting them not to be as good. We'll see though.
In short this year I don't think there is anyone on the schedule South Carolina couldn't potentially beat.
Will say Georgia is late in the year (we usually play them by week 3 usually). They've recruited very well the past few years, had a bangup class for this year. That late in the season everyone ought to be contributing and the game is at Georgia. Not liking that one right now.
Florida? Eh, I can't think of any clever way to diss them right now. Had a highly ranked class, but I dunno about some of the highly ranked guys they did sign. I know I was happier to see us land a couple 3 star relatively obscure OT guys to develop over T.J. Moore.
And as has been noted many times, the Muschamp defensive recruits are close to having run their course at Florida. We'll get to see how good an eye that staff has for defensive players starting this year.
No real clue about Clemson this year. We'll have to wait and see.
Kind of thinking 8-4 myself. Looking at the rb's, wr's, and TE's we have, we could have the best collection of all of them together in the East this year. Florida has the best wr, Georgia the best back probably. But we have a good collection all around.
What happens this year for us depends on Bentley and how well the offensive line does.
But none of the teams on our schedule this year scare me like Alabama, or potentially LSU and Auburn would (lot of ifs on those last two though; both of those schools could do very well or have a season long sh*tfest).

Not really any guaranteed losses, but not a ton of easy wins for us either.
I think your prediction is accurate. NC State is so inconsistent that I'm not sure which team will show up in Charlotte, but that will be really tough if they play like they did at the end of this past year.
I just hope to be in contention for the East when we go to Athens. Mizzou and UK games early are big for momentum.

Not really any guaranteed losses,
I might be able to think of one, if I try really hard. Clemson's third string and fourth strings were scoring at will. I know y'all get tired of hearing it every year, but the D will be even more talented. The walkons made y'all quit. Did Bentley even come out for the second half?
A lot of you are either forgetting or refuse to accept that SCjr o-line was a joke last year. Look at Bentley's stats against Clemson and Florida, the two best defenses he faced. All the great freshmen receivers in the world can't help when the kid has no time to make a play. After Bailey, there isn't much there.
I would agree that Missouri, NCSt and Vandy are tossups.
