OU couldn't get into the PAC or BIG without UT

Texas is a part of the south, they were in the CSA. They're not south eastern though. The only real south eastern states are GA, AL, MS, FL, SC, TN and Louisiana.

You're right. A&m joining the sec won't make texans become LSU fans because they were lsu fans to begin with. There are a shite load of LSU fans in houston and east texas because their roots are in louisiana and they are transplants.

I would actually like to play against BAMA or LSU every year. I respect both of those programs out of the west.
