1. Auburn vs Florida
From 1912-2002 these two teams played eachother every year and the series favors AU by 5 games (43-38).

2. Tennessee vs Virginia Tech
These teams are arguably the best teams located along the main Appalachian Mountain chain and they have a perfect nuetral site game, Bristol. Both these teams could pick up an OOC rivalry game if they wanted to.

3. UGA vs Alabama
If this rivalry would come about it would be a good one. UGA has played bama tight most of their recent games and they share a border.

4.USC vs NC State
South Carolina has only one big rival in UGA in the SEC and a little bit of one with UT. If NCst came into the SEC this would be an automatic rival, the battle for Carolina.

I think Auburn-Florida State would be a good rivalry, but it's unlikely FSU would want to play two SEC teams annually.

TAMU and Texas and Missouri and Kansas need to play again. I'm already sick of watching LSU beat A&M on Thanksgiving. I want LSU-Arkansas back on Thanksgiving Weekend.

It's pretty funny but there's no drama.

This really was developing into a great rivalry weekend series. Oh well.

I think Vanderbilt vs. Duke would be intriguing...The Brain Bowl, The ACT/SAT classic, The Battle of the Nerds, etc..

I always thought Mississippi State Texas A&M would be a bigger Rivalry simply due to their history with Jackie Sherrill and the Independence Bowl. Minus the obvious they're both Maroon ag colleges.

Oklahoma Alabama would be a good one if they joined. Oklahoma seems to have come up as an expansion team even back when A&M was considered and before Missouri.

Have you ever noticed how on site any mention of UT Aggy begins to circle the wagon. Aggy will go out of their way to remove anyone connected with UT on this site

I present you this reason why. They are terrified of UT and the damage to their fake image of playing UT again will cause. A&M had over 100 years to beat UT on the field but could not so like any good Aggy they are attempting to beat UT in the minds of not just Texans but the world.
Playing Texas again would show the world that UT is still the premier program in Texas.
I say this as of right now A&M will never set foot into DKR because they will never agree to play UT

A&M should try to play Tech or Baylor those series are much better. Like European soccer A&M needs to be promoted to the top league to play UT they are like third division right now

2005-2010 or about those years the game was great.

A&M doesn't need Texas anymore. Texas is behind Houston, Baylor, TCU, and A&M in their own state right now. Maybe Texas should focus on those teams before they speak about big brother Texas A&M

Honestly all the way up to '13, the last game played rivalry weekend, were almost all close intense games. Now they've been nothing but blowouts.

UT does not want Aggy

UT wants the new daddies of Aggy out of Texas

Aggy joining the SEC brought your conference onto our doorstep.

UT is looking to push that Sabine River to the Mississippi right now

I have to agree. Either one side or the other has the game over by half time now. It used to be one of the great what will happen games.

Mind you, I do think Arkansas/Missouri will develop into an oddly great rivalry but with the two teams being in different divisions it won't have the impact that LSU and Arkansas did.

All this posturing about Texas and A&M is dumb. It was never a great rivalry -- certainly not as great as it should have been.

So no need to try to recreate a rivalry that was never great. Or to pretend like one is afraid of the other.

A&M beats LSU once then that rivalry can get going. The Arkansas A&M one is already decent.

Obviously you do. Otherwise you wouldn't have brought it up.

Alabama has done more since they beat Texas then Texas has done in their entire school history.

Texas has the biggest ego and arrogance of the country.

UGA vs LSU is the greatest potential rivalry IMO.

Nah. Aside from some older Ags there's really no interest among current or recently graduated students. They would much rather travel to Baton Rouge every other year than go to Austin
