Your welcome
SEC Commissioner Mike Slive has told me that snub was the spark that set in motion the movement toward the playoff. The 2004 Auburn Tigers may not have won a crystal football, but they did help change the game.

Really, bc it took a "leaping" penalty to beat a mediocre Saban team that year.
Here come the whining LSU fans telling us how the refs are the cause of all their inadequacy

Don't even dare bring up the 06 game with them.

Maybe I should talk about how Auburn looked less than impressive in their bowl game against #9 Virginia Tech. I mean seriously, you expect us to believe you could've beat USC when you only beat VT by 3 pts.? I don't buy it. Didn't then, don't now.

If he had taken that attitude toward the nonconference schedule, we might have seen them in the title game.
Bowling Green backed out to play Oklahoma and we had to scramble to schedule Citadel.
Now resume your regularly scheduled trolling.

Also a travesty. Not sure I understand what you're getting at.

That was the height of the Beamer era and therefore the win is legit

But not more impressive than USC, which crushed the #2 team in the country. Who cares if your bowl win is "legit?" Your bowl win is supposed to be legit.
The issue is whether Auburn was better than USC, which they weren't. Next topic please.

More talented than USCw and would have shown if we had been more motivated.
The most glaring info below is the same reason USCw was gifted the title. Media spin. They had significantly more drafted players but they were just media spin guys. No real talent. Washed out of the league at a fast rate.

Obviously Oklahoma was vastly overrated which further proves Auburn should have been the #2 team and would have played a much more competitive game

Auburn wins that game because they were better at every position.

Auburn loses the game cause they barely got by teams they should've beat shitless.
USC would've done the same to Auburn. Auburn would've put up more of a fight, but wouldn't come close to beating them. At all. Pete Carroll is a way more aggressive coach than Tuberville is anyway.

Lot of speculation in that response. What we know is even though the media said look at this shiny nickel (USCw) that the real talent was the old crinkled up $20 bill (Auburn). Auburn wins.
