too funny

not actually...

why should beating a team effect their ranking "heading into" a matchup...why should us beating an opponent negatively effect the national opinion of the strength of that team heading into that matchup...if they were viewed as a top team before it was based off something they themselves had already accomplished.

All that is great but LSU had no Qb. The only good defenses they faced shut down the run and LSU was pretty dead in the water.

2004 AU with Tubs would have crushed the run game like bama did. We saw what he did to a better LSU offense in 2006 that tried to run on him. With a far inferior defense to 2004.

Only way it is close is if Miles benches JJ and LSU mounts a respectable passing attack. Because if Tubs is just trying to stop the run with that 04 defense, LSU isnt gonna sniff the 50 yard line.

We were 4th In offensive yardage. Lsu led the SEC in passing and rushing tds.our 2011 offense didn't suck. 2004 Auburn had 1 more td than 2011 lsu( only counting passing and rushing tds)

Lol okay

UT would have been top 5. UGA top 5 in 2004. LSU top 6 if not for losing to Auburn.

Campbell completed almost 70% of his passes with a 173 QB rating.

Compare that..

Yeah I know, but to act like 2011 lsu's offense sucked isn't true. We threw the ball when needed. In 14 games JJ/Lee threw 5 ints.

Is this where we pretend UF and MSU and whoever were ranked opponents?

Auburn also only score 26 points in 2 games versus the 2 best defenses they played that season...even with those backs...and impeccable QB efficiency rating

Lee was 62% with a 152 rating. Not that close to Campbell.

Is this where we pretend Auburn was anything but the 2nd best team in 2004?

much less the GOAT in history of CFB? or the SEC?

You said 2011 LSU couldn't throw the ball at all. All I did was post passing tds and ints. 2011 lsu just never needed to pass the ball.Campbell alone attempted more passed than JJ/Lee. Both JJ and Lee had a completion % over 61.

Whatever makes you happy when you run out of arguments to make because you are tired of being wrong I guess.

Anyway, back to facts...

Campbells 2004 completion % and QB rating is better than Johnny manziels two year average at A&M as well.

Gonna actually be tough to find a starting sec QB that posted a better QB rating than Campbell in 04.

Yeah, our offense was just that fricking good in 04.

And we already know our D was the best in football that year.
