no you don't. Saying I think there is a quote in bryants biography about Lsu does not equal a vast knowledge of alabama football

Uh, why don't you check the records since 2000?

Well I know a lot more than that. I'm a bit of a college football history buff.

And I don't "think" there is a quote. There's a quote.

And if we're not a rival why do BAMA fans so often spell LSU as Lsu or lsu?

a streak means consecutive wins..of which auburn and tennessee have racked up 6 in a row time frames.

So 6 in a row is the rival cutoff? 5 isn't good enough? Do you think about what you post or do you just start typing?

Enlightening. Thanks.

And LSU won 5 straight in the past decade. I didn't realize 6 was the magic number to reach "rival" status.

Keep digging your hole

The iron bowl and tsio are both more competitve series than the alabama lsu series. It is what it is..I understand that bothers y'all that we don't recognize you as a rival and you hate our guts..but maybe with time you'll reach rivalry status. Right now you're just another florida

Why do people keep begging for this to be a rivalry? I don't consider them a rival and they sure as hell don't. Insider us one, I hate Auburn and Ole Miss 10x more than Alabama.

I didn't realize freud was in the house...did you ever consider that it's done to get under your skin, because alabama and lsu fans make up the largest amount of posters on the sec rant?

Bear's record at Bama 232-46-9
Saban's record at Bama 55-12

Total with Bear + Saban = 287-58-9

LSU's total record = 735-390-47 (0.647)
Alabama's total record = 814-320-43 (0.710)
-Bear and Saban's totals = 527-262-34 (0.640) = NOT better than LSU

The alabama fanbase doesn't see it as a "rivalry" game and the lsu fanbase does. You should be able to answer that question

Why would you want to go out of your way to get under someone's skin unless you harbored some pretty serious negative feelings towards that group? This really isn't that difficult a concept.

Where did I say it was on par with those series records? Oh, I didn't.

Believe me, having your "rival" acknowledgment or lack thereof will not cause sleepless nights. I'll take your coaches' (that PLURAL) word for it when it comes to a rivalry with LSU.

Sorry, I just don't respect your opinion enough on the matter. No hard feelings.
