But I still have a special hate in my heart for Ole Miss. Even last year when beating them was the equivalent of raping a corpse, I wanted more

I think it would be a great idea

Rivlaries just happem, they evolve and come to be over time. Nobody thinks up rivalries or tries to create them with "great ideas," well, except Arky and LSU.

It would take several more years of the SEC west title being decided between the two. But I would think Bama will alwasy think of Aubie as their true rival. Maybe LSU could pass the vols. Or by then maybe aTm will except us as their rival. I mean that is all we want to be excepted.

Two rivalry games with their own name is enough. No thanks.

They were very good in the 60's and 50's.

That's when the rivalry hit it's peak.

Ole miss vs LSU in 1959 when Billy Cannon ran back the kick for the winning score was a #1 vs #2 matchup. Both would later meet in Nola for the sugar bowl to decide a the champion. In other words, a rematch. Ole Miss won like 21-7 I believe, but their loss to us cost them the outright NC. Ole Miss would later win 2 in the 60's.

We don't have rivals. Everyone hates LSU. That's how we like it.

Do you not read about Bama history before your time? I'm sorry. I should of asked, "Do you not read? "

See, I can be lame and unoriginal as well.

See, everyone recognizes that Ole Miss has national championships. State fans for whatever reason don't want to accept that fact.

Yeah. Right around when you started claiming National Championships like Yahoo CEO's claim degrees.

Seems like most people think 1990's LSU represents the entirety of our program pre 2000's...they seem to think we were like Florida pre spurrier for some reason

Not sure why that's the case

No, we dont need a damn rivalry because of 10 years worth of good games. Bama lready has 2 rivals in UT and AU.

As soon as Saban leaves and they hire someone that can't survive in his shadow, they will no longer be on LSUs radar anyway.
