I'm giving you perception. Most football fans aren't going to see the corp during the game and immediately run to the internet (especially during a game) to get the facts on them. Hell half of the households in SEC country probably don't have internet access.
I haven't been the only person to give this opinion either so it's not just me talking shite. In fact, I bet if you start a poll on this board a majority of people have no clue how big the corp is. You should start one to find out.

If Arkansas would have won, or even put up a fight, he would have said "CS is great, but your team blows a JLS dong". Since A&M obliterated this team that he said would destroy our arse (off-season), he simply wants to say "We sucked, you kicked our arse, but let me compose an entire post contradicting anything that Florida fans said about us and attempt to knock down anything good about the town/school.
If you had credibility, the Rant would give it. Since you don't, the Rant doesn't.

That's really okay. If what you're saying is true, I don't feel compelled to place rudimentary knowledge in the collective brain of the Rant. It's too late for that (and them).

Just to clarify, Latarian, I wouldn't mind the Corps being shown as much as it is if that coverage was balanced with non-reg (non-Corps) video footage. It's not.

Are you implying a valid excuse for arguing that which you don't know is the networks' over showing the corps? I'd agree its reasonable to form an initial impression, but it's certainly not enough for any quasi-intelligent person to use in an argument regarding A&M's female situation. And of course you agree with me on that.

I'm saying that the stereotypical "A&M has ugly girls" comment is derived mainly due to the fact that cameras at games (a very small % of fans actually attend road games) don't show the hot girls and instead show the corp almost exclusively. I know they're there, you know they're there, but it doesn't help perception if they are never shown.
