Missouri just did something that Kentucky hasn't done in program history.

We've been to the NIT. Didn't like it.

Why are you so obsessed with Kentucky football?

Is it too much to ask you to be creative? It's not like I'm asking you to parallel park.

No one thought Mizzou was going to win it this year besides their fans

No one picked missouri to win, but missouri is still far more ahead of the curve football wise than kentucky. It was only roughly 5 years ago that missouri was ranked #2 in the country going into the last weekend of the season. They've had some solid squads recently although not spectacular.

Kentucky has a pretty good year once maybe every 10 years. And even in those pretty good years they haven't even sniffed winning the division.

If Stoops gets UK to the title game, that will be his last year at UK.

I'm just sayin'.

You never see Kentucky fans starting threads about your shitastic program. Your fans start threads about Kentucky football and invade any thread about our team.

It's quite pathetic.

Yes, in that highly unlikely scenario, he would probably get hired away by a major program.

No one starts thread about Arky except Arky fans, and they have a board for that. They are stuck with Bert, they need to get over it.

Well, it wouldn't be Arky. You've got Bert.

Correct, we would not hire Mark Stoops to be our coach.

Prior to Joker, Kentucky was Top 25 in the nation in attendance from the time they built Commonwealth till the end of the Brooks era. Like South Carolina, UK football fans will put up with a lot and still go to games.

If Stoops wins at UK (say wins at least 8 per season and makes a run or 2) it is not like lots of schools could hire him away. Not going to leave UK to coach say Illinois or Iowa State. Maybe 10 - 20 jobs would be better at that point and if UK is winning the money will flow in to keep him.

Granted most would be in the SEC, but outside the SEC what would be the better job?

B1G : Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, and ?
B12 : Texas and Oklahoma
PAC : Oregon, Stanford, Southern Cal, and ?
ACC : Florida State, Clemson, and ?

Pretty much any non Big 5 school would be a downgrade and most of the other conferences are full of crappy football jobs. It is not like winning at UK then going to Indiana, Kansas, Washington State, or Virginia type jobs are better.

Coaching at UK is like living in the smaller house in the best neighborhood. Who want to live in a castle in the hood?

lol at only 10 jobs being better than Kentucky football. 10 SEC jobs are better even on the best day for Kentucky football
