The dude is shredded.

He is a top 3 blocker in conference for tight end.

Do you not remember the SECCG?

We do have a couple of transfers coming in who had 1,300+ yards and double digit TDs last year but that was against DII and FCS competition so it’s more of an unknown than anything. Plus our starting TE is coming from North Texas even though he was a freshman all-American.

Also John Burt at WR who simply may not see the field much given the ridiculous depth
John Burt was a 5th-year senior in 2019?

20 lbs lighter than the average NFL TE.

Do you think that gassed and depthless 2022 LSU defense is comparable to an NFL defense?

Ummm.
Are you arguing that heavier people are stronger and more athletic?

Aaron Donald is 20 pounds lighter than the average NFL DT.

Bowers is NFL ready regardless of who the opponent is.
It is rare for a player to be NFL ready after their freshman season.
But Bowers is an example of one.

No, I'm saying that there are only 4 TE's in the NFL currently that weigh under 230.

Maybe you are exaggerating what those 16 lbs mean in the grand scheme?

UGA lists Bowers as 6'4" 230 lbs.
He works out in the weight room with the defensive linemen (Tyrion Ingram Dawkins 6'5" 300 lbs).

Do you have information which contradicts this?

Maybe you feel personally insulted by the observation that he's light?

Here, read it for yourself.

Not a bit, as he is a top 10 pick, but you do seem bothered that I am saying your point is flawed. I don’t think those 16 pounds matter as much as you do.

19 lbs.

He is light for a TE. That's a fact.

Why do you think that matters so much? He is fast, he is strong, he can block well, he is smart, he is unselfish, he has elite hands, and he has elite balance. All of that is worth far more than 19 pounds.

It’s the UGA group think mentality.

How many tight ends in the NFL are 230 exactly?

You couldn't name 1 starter at te that weighs 230. If Bowers goes top 5 that will mean he is over drafted. Vernon Davis who was a better athlete and bigger than Bowers had just over 7000 yards receiving in the NFL.

Bowers is a great college player, who if drafted in the first round should go in the 20's. WR>TE by a mile in the top 5-10.

Who else should be included? I saw your post about it, and responded to it by describing it as flawed thinking.
