Please tell me you don't think he should be on that list.

Not after last year. "He's never done anything" is fricking absurd but he doesn't deserve to be Preseason AA.

You are obsessed with him though

There sure is a lot of Julio Jones hate in the SEC. Averaging 50 catches for 750 in your first two years is impressive to me. Not to mention he is the best blocking receiver I've seen at the college level in a long time.

yeah definitely not..that wideout from SC(name escapes me) is very good as well. I'd take Greg Childs over Julio AT THIS POINT

While I think Greg Childs was overlooked, I do not care about pre-season.

After the season is when I want to see him on All American lists.

Meh, Greg Childs has stone hands too. Put Julio in Arkansas' offense and he'd have much better stats than he does in our offense.

Phil's Preseason All-Americans from UGA:

1st team: AJ Green and Drew Butler
2nd: K Blair Walsh
3rd: OT Clint Boling
4th: KR Brandon Boykin

Preseason All-SEC from UGA:

1st: AJ Green, Clint Boling, LB Justin Houston, KR Brandon Boykin, Blair Walsh, Drew Butler
2nd: Washaun Ealey, C Ben Jones, OG Cordy Glenn
3rd: TE Orson Charles, OG Chris Davis, CB Brandon Boykin, LB Marcus Dowtin
4th: S Bacarri Rambo

I'm surprised that LB Justin Houston made first team all SEC, seeing as how he's a converted DE, which proves we don't have the proper personnel to run the 3-4 and all.

He's just so overrated. I mean yeah he's big and physical and he can block.

But recievers are supposed to be able to catch.

I don't see any linemen for UGA on those all american lists....

Just because UGA has one guy that is well suited for the 3-4 doesn't mean the whole team is...

Phil Steele makes his AA selections based on a PROJECTION. Not what they have done already.

Everyone here knows that Julio Jones has all of the physical tools to be an AA WR. Steele could be wrong. But the guy knows his football. I wouldn't bet against him.

Personally, I hope he's wrong.

Good thing for au he couldn't catch in the iron bowl. Phil Steele is very respected and his opinion > bitter haters

He made some catches. Big fricking deal.

You know he shouldn't even be considered for AA if he can't make All SEC, and he can't.

There are plenty more better recievers than him.

But i guess you're the only one who thinks he should be AA so

Julio isn't even the best receiver in the state of Alabama.

I know everyone says something about JJ. But how can AUBURN really say anything? He basically won the game for Alabama. Ingram didn't. Richardson didn't. Same with LSU. Sure PP wasn't in and that has something to do with it. However, Julio was Mr Clutch in both of those games.
