Nope that doesn't really help either. Previous poster said there were "literally dozens" of 2016 top 100 college football players lists that were better than PFF, so I was curious about what those particular lists were. I was looking for his opinion about the better lists, not just the existence of other lists.

Good to see Caleb Brantley getting some love. Feel like he's pretty underrated on this board to everyone but Gator fans.

I told you to take your pick, they are all subjective
there are dozens out there to choose from, I said I personally don't agree with PFF many times so I prefer others. It's not hard to find son, go do a search

One final note: this list is all about college football and the 2016 season. We are not projecting for the NFL or any future drafts.

They made it clear that it wasn't about their NFL potential. I still don't agree with it, although as I said earlier McCaffrey does virtually everything for his team.

My bad, didn't click link

DeShaun Watson at 6 is hilarious. The guy should be unanimous number 1 on these lists.

Per PFF:
quote:

With the college game being less quarterback-centric than the NFL, we have some leeway to give positional boosts for certain players who carry the workload for their respective team.

I think they went a little too far with the leeway.

who are these people you're referencing?

Purely a guess here, but I'm assuming that poster was referencing the collective group that spent last November/early December ball washing McCaffrey and saying he should win Heisman over Henry.

So you aren't even going to share one top 100 list (of the "dozens") that you think are better than this PFF list? Thanks for nothing.

I know there are some other lists, I wanted to know some of the ones you think are superior.

Maybe I'm being a homer with Dobbs but he's like the 5th best returning QB in 2016 judging by last year's total QBR. I know he's not a great passer but he's dynamic as frick. As good as Hurd and Kamara are, Dobbs is the MVP of Tennessee's offense. Slow down Dobbs and Tennessee's O becomes very easy to stop imo

I'm just about convinced JRM maybe the most underrated football player in the country now. His stats from 2014 and 2015 are crazy good yet he's always looked over on these lists.
