Apparently those other 2 guys are better, too.
Surprised Minkah hasn't quit and gone to a JUCO or Georgia.

Well, clearly. I mean, Fitzpatrick isn't even in the top three.

I would like to see a link please.
Fitzpatrick and Tolliver were pretty clearly the two best freshmen corners last year in the SEC IMO.

You would have to ask them. Or visit their website.

I'll bite. Anyone that thinks any of these guys are better than Fitzpatrick and Tolliver have lost their damn mind. All three of those guys are good, but Fitz and Tolliver are on another level.

While we're referencing PFF here are their top breakout candidates for 2016 (DCIAP)!

I remember some Auburn fan tried to argue me down that Saban only signed Anderson as a package deal for Yeldon and that he'd never see the field

1. Deatrich Wise Jr, DE, Arkansas 2016 grade: 81.6 | 2015 snaps: 375 | PFF College 101 rank: 22 Few players affected the quarterback as frequently as Wise Jr during the second half of the season and his pass rush productivity of 16.0 against Power-5 competition ranked second to only first-round pick Joey Bosa among 4-3 defensive ends. Wise used his long frame to pick up 10 sacks, 12 QB hits, and 21 hurries on only 258 hurries last season and he complemented it with a solid +4.5 grade against the run. Wise has the size to move around the defensive front for the Razorbacks, so look for him to rush off the edge while also kicking inside to take advantage of guards as well. Wise may not be able to keep up last year’s incredible pace, but a full-season workload should make him one of the nation’s most productive pass rushers.

Did you watch Carlton Davis last year? Dude was already on another level as a true freshman just like your aforementioned players.
Posted on 8/18/16 at 7:31 pm to TTsTowel
Davis is a very good player. Boom has faults but dude can evaluate and then develop defensive players.

Davis was certainly solid and pretty damn good. I'll take Minkah though.

Didn't see him play very much, but I was impressed with what I saw from Davis last year. There were a lot of good SEC freshman CBs last year.

Take out the special teams stats and look purely at the DB numbers, Davis had the more productive year (with two fewer games played)
