I find it even funnier that he blocked him from Purdue just because the Brohms are there as well as a couple guys that coached with him on defense at some of his previous stops.

Isn't it pretty standard to block a player from schools you are playing the next year. Don't get me wrong, Petrino is a douche but I'm fairly certain most coaches follow that guideline when it comes to transfers.

I missed where they were on the schedule.

It's still shitty to block a kid who has completed his graduation requirements. Especially one that was only on your team because he followed Grantham in the first place as an undergrad.

Ya, well that is a big argument that I think we are going to see surface over the course of the next few years. Most coaches hold the same philosophy on grad transfers that I have seen.

All of the shite over that last year, and Mo Smith is back at Alabama as an intern now.

I think you're confusing Mo Smith for Geno Smith, who it was announced joined the staff a couple of weeks ago. I feel certain Mo Smith is preparing for the NFL draft/free agency to try and make a run at a roster spot.

He has always been douche bag . I could see why he wouldn't want the kid to follow Grantham . If the kid wanted to play at MSU why didn't he transfer there when he left UGA? Did UGA block him from going there?

Uuuuh...no. He's not even close. Get ready for a different level of frustration. He talks a big game but he can't teach his plan at all and your entire D will be standing with their hands in the air waiting for the call when the O snaps the ball.

It's BS that a coach has that option.

Shaq didn't transfer until after spring football when Pruitt was the new DC.

UGA didn't put any restrictions on transfers in the past. We still have former players at Auburn, Ga Tech, Louisville, MSU, Ole Miss, etc. and all it really does is hurt UGA if they're on the schedule. They've since changed that policy with Smart.

No, they didn't block Shaq from going anywhere as far as I know, but the reason he specifically chose Louisville was to play for Grantham and reunite with teammate Josh Harvey-Clemons.

The reasons for Western Kentucky and Notre Dame are unknown.

Really?

Notre Dame is due north

Western Kentucky is due south

Why send a kid an hour or 2 away from Louisville?
