Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino is blocking a transfer to Mississippi State, Western Kentucky, Notre Dame, Purdue and Kentucky for cornerback Shaq Wiggins.

Purdue and Kentucky are two teams on Louisville's schedule in 2017. The Bulldogs are likely excluded because defensive coordinator Todd Grantham left Louisville for the same job at Mississippi State. The reasons for Western Kentucky and Notre Dame are unknown.

The Georgia native was most confused by the inclusion of Mississippi State.

"I really don't know what's his state of thinking or why he chose to put Mississippi State on there. It's something personal, but I have no idea why. It's really not fair."

I thought they pushed Grantham out and "upgraded" with Sirmon? fricked up they blocked his transfer to probably where he wanted to go.

Funny they took him with open arms when he transferred from UGA to follow Grantham the first time. and guess what? UGA wasn't a bitch then. Don't be a bitch now.

Maybe it will gain some steam from the national media and Petrino will cave (see Saban/Mo Smith situation from last summer).

If he's already graduated, he should be allowed to go wherever.

Why he is choosing to follow Grantham for a second time I'll never understand, but he should be given the opportunity to do so.

Petrino has always been a dirt bag. Definitely has short man syndrome.

did you see our defense last year? we had decent players but a shiddy coordinator... we basically traded coordinators with Louisville and we got the better end of the deal... We also got a couple other guys from that staff that have good recruiting ties to in the south... Louiseville was trying to use those ties to their advantage. I think grantham will be better than we've had in a while. I think he is on par with Geoff Collins... Whom florida hired away from us and now he is head coach somewhere maybe temple

Oh, this definitely needs to happen. Someone needs to look into his departure, see if UL shite canned his belongings from his locker.

Well now you'll still have decent players and a shiddy coordinator

He's always had a top 25 defense. Our defense was around 120 last year. Safe to say, he is a big upgrade. Plus, Miss State has always done better with aggressive D coordinators.

All of the shite over that last year, and Mo Smith is back at Alabama as an intern now.

I find it even funnier that he blocked him from Purdue just because the Brohms are there as well as a couple guys that coached with him on defense at some of his previous stops.

Just insecure as frick.
