I just wish dude would admit he's an Alabama Saban homer.
You clearly don't understand Finebaum. He was trolling us like crazy long before Saban arrived and he shifted his schtick. Finebaum cheerleading for Saban and Bama is a lot like George Wallace kissing black babies toward the end of his career.

So Grovewater is Killz? So a troll starts a thread bitching about the professional troll? Hmm..

We Alabamians have known this for a long time. The only, and I mean only value is he can get some good interviews on his program. But you have to listen to hear the interviews and that is like having somebody rub their teeth on a chalkboard.
Spot on. When he gets a good interview it can be good. He has had Dye and Stallings on at the same time before and listening to those two chew the fat for an hour was pure gold.

The people watching the show at that time must not work. What other audience do you have at that time?

Fbomb laughs.
He owns a home on Shoal Creek next to the just retired comish of the SEC.
He has more money than 99%
Of the Poeple who who go to tRant.
He has a job which takes him to the best football games. He knows the best coaches and players in the game.
And he doesn't give a damn what I think or what you think.

As if everyone works 9-5? And most of his audience are radio or internet. For me? I work from home most days. ;)

It's hours of an idiot who doesn't understand the game of football
Like him or not, he's been around a while and he knows college football, in particular the SEC...and he also knows how to market himself, how to play to his audience, and how to remain gainfully employed over the years...so "idiot" is the last word I'd use to describe him...

I'm a bit bias here but.........
He says he respects Mizzou one minute and then dogs on them as if they are an SEC East bottom feeder the next. I'd be fine with that if he actually knew any thing about the program. It takes a caller named Truman to give him the insides of Mizzou Football. Shouldn't we be getting the inside scoop on all SEC from Paul and not the callers?
Truman: "Have you heard about our stud 2nd string QB Drew Lock."
Paul: "No, I haven't been following Mizzou."
Truman: "How about our WR battles?"
Paul: "This is the SEC Network. You need to call the Longhorn Network to talk about Big 12 news."

Jerry Springer. Nothing more. I was HOPING when he went to Charlotte he would now be their problem.
Oh and dont let him fool you about being a Bama homer. This guy is UT to the bone.
During the Fulmer years, which I'm sure you were probably 4 or 5 years old and dont remember much past 2002, he was riding the Volunteer bandwagon to no end and ran down Bama and Auburn, unless Bob Lochamy was on their then he rode Auburns coattails.
As much as you'd like to , and I see your agenda here, Bama fans cant stand the guy as much as anybody else outside the idiots that call every day and they call from all over the U.S. so you can stop with this is a Bama call-in show too. He does not represent Bama, doesn't speak for us, has no ties to us as much as you want this to be true. Now, you want some homers, listen Hannigriff and Jordy down in the red stick. Nowhere are there more radio homers than the BTR stations. Difference in me and you is I don't care what they have to say and value their opinion zero. You seem to care about Finebaum a lot. Very unhealthy.

Yep. He accidentally outed himself a couple of weeks ago.

true story... I remember the first time I found this site and spent a half hour reading through the rant page 1 and thinking "so THIS is where Finebaum finds all those idiots".
Posted on 8/19/15 at 10:16 am to Roses of Crimson
Roses of Crimson, Hannigriff & Jordy are local radio talking heads, their shows' advertizers and listeners are for the most part LSU fans/supporters, so what is wrong with targeting their local listeners? Whereas Finebaum is supposed to be representing the entire SEC, not just bama. A huge difference. But what I do like about him is that, as a result, as one poster said here, fans around the country are laughing at the bama callers as being typical of bama fans specifically, citizens of the state in general. I have friends in L.A. & Chicago who tune in strictly for the amusement factor alone. What a great representative of the SEC & the South !

PF did say the only teams who could win the West are AU and UA...so he definitely caters to his target market.

Without Pawl we wouldn't get to hear how trashy the state of alabama is

Lulz.
Paul Finebaum doesn't know jack shite about football or the SEC, whether it be history or schematics, outside of the Alabama-Auburn rivalry.

The only time worth listening is when bama loses.....which hasn't been often lately. Paul sounds like somebody kicked his puppy and stole his manhood. Phyllis is on fire. Hopefully we will have many good days of listening to Paul this season.

I think it was a major hit at the beginning and will pick back up now that football season is approaching, but I can't remember the last time I watched that channel. Same reruns of "SEC Stories" and the terrible Finebaum show.
