Ever consider the lack of Ints.being a result of less balls being thrown at him? Of course you didn't.

When a guy out of high school was heralded to be the best since Champ and by many USC coaches the best ever through their rising starts camp(where almost every high profile recruit goes there) and by analysts to be a top 5 pick along with his shutting down of one side of the field most of the time and shutting down AJ Green and Julio Jones(when he covered them), the guy will get some hype. So fricking get the sand out. I know it pains you to hear anything positive about something unassociated with the Tide.

My opinion is based on the Ole Miss game....so no, you're right...I'm not taking that into consideration.

Bottom line is most Bama fans refuse to give PP any credit because he shut down JJ.

Good player. Never said he wasn't.
He just gets FAR too much fluff from LSU fans considering what he has produced. You would think he's already wrapped up the Heisman and first overall pick in the draft by listening to some of you.
And he's not the best player in the SEC.

so tell me this who is better:
Bama's Kareem Jackson
or
LSU's Patrick Peterson.

PP. But I ask you again, tell me where Alabama fans talk about Kareem Jackson anywhere near the amount LSU fans talk about PP?

Peterson will be most likely be 1st team AA no matter how many picks he has
Only because Arenas isn't at Bama anymore.

Yeah, I'm not sure where the Jackson talk is coming from. No one claimed he was a great player.

Alabama did have 6 first team All-Americans last year, so I'd say more than Ingram deserve the hype.
Posted on 3/28/10 at 2:47 pm to bigpapamac
A lot of that had to do with who they played for
Posted on 3/28/10 at 2:48 pm to bigpapamac
Because he is not as good.

I think it's funny when Alabama fans have a guy like Cody on a pedestal and they can't believe LSU fans would hype of Peterson

Not denying that, Saban took an average team (at best) and turned it into a national title team in three years with many of the same guys who were there when he arrived. However, any first team All-American deserves whatever hype he gets.
