Past time we do away with the Playoff Committee

The fact that Jeff Long and his minions left out the best team in the nation last year in TCU, and a Top 4 team in Baylor, while also putting LSU as #2. Says all I need to know about this committee he leads. Its nothing but a political sports networking group. For gods sake, they have Condi Rice on the committee.
Judging by the women on this board, women's knowledge of football is seriously lacking.
Time to put this in the hands of media, they will ensure the best 4 teams get in.

It should be 8 teams.
5 Power 5 champs, top non P5 ranked school and two at large.
All the committee should try to figure out is who deserves the non P5 bid and the two at large.

I'm cool with this, but lets take the committee out of it and use the old BCS formula for the non P5 and at-large

Go back to the BCS formula. There wasn't much wrong with that formula, it was the fact it only took the top two teams.

Big 12 shouldn't buck the system and have a ccg and Notre Dame should join a conference.

Agree, for different reasons obviously. The week to week flip flopping reasoning is old - and it's barely a year old now.
