It's been a while since I looked at Greek mythology but I'm pretty sure pandora was never in the box. She opened it.

Only difference is now players will have an option to allow the NCAA to use their likeness,,, ie sign the waiver here and they can use it, or don't sign and they can't use it.
Other than that, no difference.
Kids who don't sign will be excluded from having their likeness used in NCAA promo stuff, but they still won't be allowed to "make money" off selling it, until they are no longer an amateur athlete, so not much changes.

EA was always fricking lazy as all get out with the NCAA series.
Here is my list of bullshite from NCAA by EA
You can't create your own conferences. Want to go back in time and have a Big 8, SWC, WAC, or Big West? Or perhaps maybe you want to pretend the old Metro Conference sponsored football? Too bad. You can't. Instead, you can only move teams around conference to conference. You aren't allowed to completely kill one as you must always leave a couple in it. Even worse, you are required to keep at least one team as an independent as if that was also a conference. WTF?
They took away full control of scheduling. Back in the day you could play whoever you wanted, whenever you wanted. These days you aren't even allowed to shuffle the order conference games are played in or even if its a home or away game. That's straight bullshite.
There are less teams to play with now . Several versions ago they had a decent amount of FCS schools and it seemed like they were going to end up adding the entire division. Alas, EA replaced them all with generic FCS North, South, East, and West teams.
Even worse, if you want to create a team you can't simply add them in. Instead, if you want to create one to play with in a season you have to dump a team out of the game. So if you want to create 20 teams and play with them in a dynasty you are forced to remove 20 teams which basically ruins the entire point of creating teams. For whatever reason EA coding is so weak it can't handle more than a specific numbers of squads in dynasty. It probably has something to do with the shitty scheduling algorithm that only lets you change OOC games.
Another shitty thing they did with create a team and create a player was remove the feature from the disk completely. Now you have to go to their crappy webpage, make you guy there with a slow arse menu system, upload it, and then go download it onto your system. This is needlessly complicated and a waste of time.
Speaking of creation modes, why the hell did they never make a create a stadium feature or a mode that allows you do do expansions to your stadium as you become a beast in dynasty mode? Creating teams gets rather dull after a while b/c everyone has to play in the same 4 generic stadiums. Oh sure, you can swipe another FBS schools stadium but that is the lamest of lame. If I wanted to play in a stadium that looks like Bryant-Denny I'll play w/or against Bama.
The menus became slow as all get out for seemingly no reason at all. Why the frick do the menus on the PS3/XBox360 versions of this game take longer to load than some of the PS1 versions? This is straight up laziness on EA's part. At least patch the shite after release.
You could not elevate other bowls to BCS status and you could not change bowl affiliations past the BCS games.
So if I want to make it old school w/a Bowl Allience type thing I can't. If I want to assign the Alamo Bowl to the SEC I can't. Why? There is no logical reason for this except they were too lazy. No option for a playoff be it 4, 8, or 16 teams. Again, this is something they used to offer but took away. Surely the NCAA didn't tell them they weren't allowed to have a playoff in a video game. Of course, I am sure EA would blame them for that instead of copping to being lazy. (again)
Remember when the game was adding more and more school songs? Sorry brah. Only a select few now have the right music. frick your realism.

I'm sure there is more but I just can't stand it. EA's NCAA just got shittier and shittier once they got exclusivity.

Hmm? Pandora opened the box, just like the title says. It got its name from the fact that it belonged to her and, well, she opened it. Before she opened it, it was simply known as "Box." Or something.
