the actual in-stadium experience ala amenities of the facilities

None would say it is terrible. That was just hyperbole by the OP. Do they need improvements? Of course. Terrible? Not at all.

As a visitor I would agree.

It is a football game after all. My basic requests are that I be able to get to and from my seat pretty easily and have a clean bathroom to get to in a relatively quick fashion. And the speakers need to be awesome.

Not too much to ask.

Not one Auburn fan would complain about the game day experience. There might be some complaints about facilities

Yep. For the most part, the concourses are open enough. The upperdeck can get pretty crowded, but I've been in much worse around the SEC.

I think the biggest things Auburn fans want are a new sound system, improve quality of concessions as they are mostly just generic stadium food right now, and then just a general facelift/hiding the erector set.

Not major stuff, just a general restoration of the stadium.

Yea - the outside is still very concrete/erectorish. I have to think that bricking that up and a few other things shouldn't be TOO expensive.

Never really understood this. As long as I can get an Aramark hot dog and a Coke, what else do you really need?

Since Cam, bagmen's bags have gotten heavier.

It wouldn't be. Hell, we've already done it to half the stadium, or close to it. I mean, its always going to be concreteish, but if we can just do something about the endzones, it will look night and day better.

Maybe a cheeseburger that isn't cold and hard. The food is pretty damn abysmal. I'm not saying it has to be prime rib, but it should be able to beat an inner city public school lunch room quality.

Amen - Denny dog and a coke/water depending on time of day and time of year and I am good

I did used to dominate those frozen leomande's at Legion Field back in the 90's at sizzling September games. Those were the tits.

I was always filled up on BBQ from our "friends" whose yard we parked in. I was little so I didn't really understand ,but I'm pretty sure we paid them like $50 a game for parking, food and of course to not break into our car.

Worked out well.

Yea I agree on this, but it does seem a little stupid that they sell Dreamland BBQ in the stadium.

You can't find shitty stadium BBQ from a company not based in Tuscaloosa?
