It's cool, you just have to understand that being unrealistically optimistic about the upcoming season is a proud Tennessee tradition that we hold quite dear. It helps make football bearable before the whole house of cards falls in upon itself

All kidding aside, the Tennessee game is the start of football season for me. It is aggravating my sense of order in the universe by putting Kentucky before it. And I don't care if we win 20 in a row, it will always be one of our biggest games, and I get juiced going into it!

How dare you be excited for your University's football team.

I mean, it's not like we're breaking in a brand new coaching staff and an almost talentless football team.

Florida could select 9 people from their crowd at random (no regard for age, gender, sobriety, weight), have those 9 people play both offense and defense, and Tennessee would STILL be down a field goal with five minutes left in the game.

An apt representation of what it feels like watching Florida play Tennessee every year for the last ten years.
