We should've scheduled Lamar, Rice, SMU or ULM instead of OU if we wanted 8-5.

To hell with waiting for the game....lets get Phattyus Phil off this board and Tiger Droppings should publish his home number if he tries to sneak in under an alter.

Gator Country has absolutely no credence in my world. The vols went 7-6 and beat Vandy, UK and USCe....my. I think Spurrier cant wait to play you again for revenge. UK might be a very close game.

Between Bullard, Brantley & MacCallister on the DL Dobbs will be in trouble....but he better be careful tucking and running cause Antonio Morrison will plant him in the Swamp.

The fact that a team you've beaten 10 years in a row is the road favorite to win this year says all you need to know about where the two programs are in relation to each other.

I'd say going 0 for 4 vs. Muschamp, is all you need to know about what a dumpster fire UT has become.

For sure. UT will never beat Florida again because of that.

Tennessee hasn't had a relevant football team since 2004......been over a decade.

Representing the East in the 2007 SEC Champ game wasn't "relevant?"

Weren't you favored in 2 of the last 3 years? I think we were favored in 2013.

No but Butch being 0-2 vs Muschamp, and outcoached by Muschamp does.

Calm down Mr Sensitive, I wasn't trying to argue with you. I don't predict UT to beat Florida in my lifetime. I'm sure all you gators agree.

Of course it's important , the vols haven't beat very many good teams lately . So if UF loses the Vols then the season will likely be very bad.

I agree. For UF to return to being the team we expect to be, we cant take a step back. Losing to UT or Kentucky, Vandy, UG would be a step back. It is critical that the improvement take place early under a new coaching staff. That means beating the teams that you have been beating and then winning some big games that haven't been winning lately like Ole Miss, LSU, USC, Missouri, or FSu.

I guess Tennessee thinks they are important too.

Why don't you start a thread for this article? LOL

Holy shite I didn't read the whole article, but the fact that an obvious 10rc writer would even write the possibility of starting 5-0 is feeding the hell out of the trolls. Of course it is a possibility, but what a homertastic article. Actually now that I think about it, they would probably get the guy fired if he didn't write fluff piece crap.

Indeed, OU and UF are very important for us, too. It's more that other teams see Tennessee as a really important game to win instead of a "lol Tennessee" game that's kind of unique.

Can you just let me enjoy a little bit of the pre-season hype? I'm on record thinking we go 8-4 and that y'all likely keep the streak going because you live rent free in our heads, but noooo, the Rant just can't let us have anything nice. At least let me enjoy it before it all comes crashing down.
