Great idea, but I don't see how they will enforce it.

Nobody wants to smell that shite. I've smoked once the past year or so and it was at Tri-Delt formal. The nice lady bus driver gave me a cig & we shot the shite for a good 15-20 minutes while my date was rounding up the freshmen

Arkansas' campus has been smoke free since 2008 at least. Its not a bad thing.

I'm not a smoker, but why stop there? Let's make all college campuses and stadiums go all-vegan.
Heart attacks and diabetes are killing our fat arse, fast food society, too.

People smoking in designated areas isn't going to affect you.

Basically people will sneak cigs in the bathrooms and every book and cranny they can find in the stadium and it becomes a cat and mouse game with security. At WB they don't throw you out they just make you put it out and move on .

my word, so many candy assed ****s on here
so y'all tell me, when are college campuses gonna initiate curfews and bedtime?
does anyone believe in freedom anymore?
I mean, I understand that the "pro-choice" liberals are more than happy to tell me what I can and can not choose to do, but on the SEC rant?
Really?

Where are you going to put these designated smoking areas?

Where they've been up until now - outside. And if necessary, in a restricted area outside.
A total ban is ridiculous and oppressive. States are lining up to legalize pot with the right hand, while wishing to ban cigarettes with the left. It's laughable.

Completely disagree, and I figured lsu would be the last school to institute this.
Not to mention lsu professors will be pissed.
I swear it seemed like half of my college professors smoked.

Auburn is not "tobacco free" we are "smoke free" big difference and I embrace that difference as a major supporter of Red Man.
