We have no quarterback, no depth behind Guice, and we are losing a lot of talent on D.

I think this team can do well but playoffs is a stretch. I'm expecting 9-3.

Why do people state this in response to these kind of quotes? It's one thing to have confidence in your team and coaching staff, and state that publicly. It's another to guarantee championships.

Except Yaw Yaw has one of the best DCs in football and made a great hire at OC. And he recruits 1000X better than Butch.

Did he predict who will be the head coach at LSU by the end of next season?

So Saban has never told a player...come to Alabama and you can play for a NC...ie>>>prediction for going to playoffs

Most of the country expects LSU to make the playoffs next year

Barnhater, your handle indicates your heart is in the right place, but...

No, most of the country does NOT expect LSU to make the playoffs next year
. Not even most LSU fans expect it. Actually, most knowledgeable LSU fans I talk with think LSU is going to have a down year next year with the 5 SEC road games, no true LBs, suspect DL, rebuilding secondary, mediocre OL, and the loss of so much experience. I hate to bring this up, but it is very hard to play a 3-4 using three-star converted RBs, Safeties, DEs, as LBs.

With a decent recruiting class this year, 2018 and 2019 should see beginning of recovery - depending on what the opposition does. But next year could be the worse year for LSU since 2001. In my opinion, if LSU finishes 8-4 next year it will be a success.

But Barnhater... don't quit wishing, and hoping, and praying... it could happen I suppose.

Yaw Yaw must have been a really awesome coordinator somewhere given how LSU fans have put all their faith in the coordinators he has hired.

And you cannot tell me that Nick Saban has never told his team that they are going to be playing for championships every year? Yeah, OK.

He doesn't tell them that. He tells them that they will work everyday to become champions. Big difference.

Where did he state this publicly? This was literally a locker room talk he gave his players after the game

Honestly, this is kinda embarrassing for Bama fans to care what Orgeron says to his players in the locker room

Do you Things EVERRRRRRRR understand ANNNNYYYTHING ????
Once again, he didn't hold a press conference in front of a world-wide audience on CNN, this was a quote from one of LSU's players in the locker room, who stated Coach O told his team after the Louisville win 'this was great, but next year we'll be in it.' He didn't "guarantee" anything !!
And since fricking WHEN is the LSU football locker room.......THE PUBLIC ???????????? Are y'all stupid ???????????

He said this to HIS PLAAAAAAYYYYYYYEEERRRSSSS...not to the Milky Way Galaxy on World News Tonight.
