Here is the point for corn dogs too isolated to understand how things work...

Ask yourself this... "Would Nick Saban or Bear Bryant say this?" Answer is "NO, NO, and NOT EVER."

Now ask yourself why Nick Saban or Bear Bryant wouldn't say it. Then ask yourself what WOULD Nick Saban or Bear Bryant say?

IF you do this honestly, I think you will discover why the rest of us think Eaux is just a yaw yaw and many LSU fans are institutionally delusional.

I can't believe that a coach would say things to motivate his team, what an idiot.

Ya, this would be very different if he said it to the media but it was said in the locker room.

I don't prefer this type of motivation. If the motivation is based on the result, then it loses its effectiveness when the result (which is damn hard to do in this case) isn't achieved.

Rex Ryan ran his mouth the same way. If it's not followed by results, it just becomes noise after a while and players start to tune you out. There's a reason why rah-rah often fails.

It's sad that is what you think.
The Gump cult that worships the words of a dead coach and one that is living, or actually what you think they would say.....

You Gumps are a special bunch that's for sure.

They are only the two most successful coaches in CF history, and neither of them would have said anything like this. I would think it worth learning from the best, wouldn't you?

But go ahead.. it is the Louisiana way to talk big, make fantastical prognoses, and, for instance ...

- claim 7-8 first round draft picks;
- claim "best in a generation this or that;"
- be absolutely sure about LSU Heisman this or that;
- brag about LSU players "at the next level;"
- aver about "all that talent at LSU (as if no other teams have talent);

and then suffer like a dog while blaming the refs, SEC office in Birmingham, schedules, etc., when the team crashes and burns down in third or fourth place in the SEC west. But go ahead and let yaw yaw yaw-yaw. After all, he is "one of us..." and he certainly acts like it. LOL

Hey man, I get it. When the pendulum swings back I'm sure we'll be merciless ourselves. That's what a rivalry is all about

This whole site this week has been nothing but corndogs starting threads about the Bama coaching staff. Nice to see a change for once.

Orgeron predicts LSU will be in the CFB Playoff next season
by Roll Tide Ravens

LINK Yaw Yaw Yaw Yaw playoffs.

He didn't hold a press conference in front of a world-wide audience on CNN you stupid fricking piece of Skoal-stained red elephant blubber, this was a quote from one of LSU's players in the locker room, who stated Coach O told his team after the Louisville win 'this was great, but next year we'll be in it.'

It was said to his players not to the Milky Way Galaxy on World News Tonight.

GFY, set yourself on fire, then lower yourself inch-by-inch into a Tuscashitta Sewage Treatment Plant..

if LSU gets to pick from every Louisiana player in then every fan on the SEC rant would have to admit LSU has a chance to get a #4 final ranking in the Playoffs

But since that is not the case, Orgeron is a liar because Orgeron missed out on the Baton Rouge Linebacker so he did not get to pick from every Louisiana Player.

Well I know that Bear Bryant would not say it because they never had the playoff when he was coaching and now that they do have it, he isn't saying shite to anyone.

And you cannot tell me that Nick Saban has never told his team that they are going to be playing for championships every year? Yeah, OK.

Most of the country expects LSU to make the playoffs next year. Some of you act like this is an outlandish claim.

Since the firing of Les Miles, LSU has basically turned the program completely around. Almost took down the Goliath known as Alabama and Florida needed a goal line stand to beat us without the best player in college football AKA LF7. Both of these teams would go on to win their respective divisions and play in the conference championship, with one now playing in the National Championship.

Give Orgeron a full off season and who knows what he's capable of. Guice is the next great running back at LSU and Orgeron is hard at work fixing the QB situation. The defense is already the best in the country.

There truly has never been a better time to be an LSU Tiger folks.
