You're very determined to include Orgeron's last year where he went 3-9 and Croom's 8-5 season in all of your stats for some reason even though neither is coaching for either school anymore.
Without including that season the stats are:
State: 9-15
Ole Miss: 10-14
which still has us ahead even counting the terrible season we just had
typical Bear- you dont want to count Orgermoron's last season. yet you count Crooms last one. Seriously?

Diaz leaves and CJ reopens his recruiting and Whitehead is now open
CJ committed to Torbush- not Diaz. And he didnt open his recruiting back up when Torbush left. Just something to remember.
All of the de-committing and change of heart took place during the dead period of recruiting while we were at the Gator Bowl.
Could just be a coincidence. Or it could be Nutts and the Bears just decided they were going to do whatever it takes to keep State from taking over Mississippi- rules be damned.
But CJ committed to Torbush- him opening his recruiting had nothing to do with Diaz leaving

quote:He obviously meshed well with Diaz. I'm sure with Torbush leaving, and then the next year Diaz leaving was the last straw for Johnson.
CJ committed to Torbush- not Diaz.
quote:Johnson decommitted on the day Diaz left. If Diaz would've stayed, CJ would've been a Dog. Watch the guy when he's interviewed by Mike Farrell by Rivals.com. They have an interview with him the day he decommited.

As for Brassell and Singleton, they both showed signs of favoring Ole Miss before the Gator Bowl. Brassell walking off the field when asked about taking the picture for the MS/AL Classic was true. They got him back after lunch and he finally took it, but he didn't want to take it then. It should've been a clue, but many Dogs believed that it was OM propaganda.
Tobias also wouldn't get in the picture, and he also started talking more favorably about OM in interviews around that time. Also, with his brother there, HS teammates there, etc., it's not that big of a stretch to say he changed his mind several times during the process and we didn't even know about it.
quote:False, he decommitted within an hour of the announcement of Diaz to Texas. I think it had something to do with it. Watch the interview on Rivals. I don't think the guy is looking devastated for show.

I think he was not totlly committed to State. Diaz leaving was just an excuse for not going. The kid was uncertain about anything. I believe he is still uncertain. I hope he will be happy where-ever he goes......

I concur... he was still planning on taking official visits to OM and LSU before Diaz left. Diaz leaving was just the final straw.

The black bears need to STFU and let the big boys talk. Runts are only good for laughs and taking an arse whipping!
