I smoked some at a party a few years ago and the same shite happened to me. Honestly thought I was having a heart attack at 17. That stuff is sketchy as hell yet I know quite a few people from HS that would smoke it on a regular basis.

I had no intention of doing it, and never would have. My rule was always "all natural, low addiction". On the bright side though, any urge to partake in mind altering substances was snuffed out that day.
With all that said, hopefully he just reacted so badly due to dehydration or something, and they're just getting his electrolyte levels back to normal. Maybe he didn't seizure or anything more serious.

The stuff that is still legal is because there is a time lag to get it made illegal. Every time one of these chemicals are identified and made illegal, they alter the chemistry slightly, and we have a new legal substance with a different name. What's more, in the process, the makers are refining to more potent and addictive forms.
These substance are call synthetic weed because the chemicals act on the same receptors in the brain as THC of natural weed. But it is not "weed" in the way most of you think.

Smoked some a few times 4-5 years ago when I was on probation. I hated it. Normally it would leave me feeling apathetic and borderline depressed. But anytime I would smoke some after I had been drinking, like at all, it was just like you said, it'd feel like something crazy was going on with my heart and I'd think I was dying. That stuff ain't right.

To get high without failing a drug test. I don't know if it's tested for nowadays, but 3-4 years ago it wasn't and that's the reason many dabbled with it. Hell, I'm sure some just liked the high from it too.
