As someone who works in intensive care in The state's largest private hospital I can say he can't be that bad off if they are keeping him in the Oxford ICU.

Yeah that shite started popping up when I was a freshman in high school. We had heavy drug test so it was the option over the course for a month. In that month you start noticing that shite ain't right. Sometimes your heart will hurt or your head would throb not with pain but with weird trippy scary feelings and you start getting the vibe this shite can kill you.
It's incense, a bunch of weird chemicals that doesn't show up on drug test. It's basically the same stuff as bath salts. Check out the people who smoke that shite, they look like Ryan Mallet.
I hope Denzel makes it out ok, and if it is the synthetic stuff learns a very powerful lesson.
A lot of people have siezured and died from it.

An ex buddy of mine gave me some several years ago claiming it was weed. He passed it to me, I took a big hit, asked what in the hell I just smoked, and a few minutes later I was in the midst of a full blown panic attack, racing heart, elevated body temp, etc. Luckily, another friend's wife was there (a nurse), and got me under control. It was by far the worst experience of my life, honestly thought I was going to die. The "friend" that did that can rot in hell.
Needless to say, that was the end of my experimentation with drugs. Anything mind altering causes a panicked feeling now.
ETA: the nurse did not know what this guy had. She was furious when she found out what he had given me. As with almost all healthcare professionals, she finds little wrong with marijuana and detests this synthetic shite.

yea spice was big in the navy a few years ago. i know plenty of guys who got kicked out for that shite. an idiot on my last boat passed out in the scullery and the HM's took his blood and found spice lol
